This is true… what kind of snakes do you have in the wild where you live?
We have mostly Garter Snakes that I’ve seen. They used to always be in front of our steps at the old house, I remember beeing terrifyied the first time I saw one.
What about you, what kinds are near you.
There’s also the rare and elusive Western Rattlesnake. I didn’t even know we had those here…
I’m neutral about them now 
In Nebraska there would be a bunch in my backyard and once on my porch.
There was some in the playground at school and once even running around the school 
but the teachers didn’t believe four year olds.
Awww cute! but kinda freaky when not expected. 
Adders are the ones I have seen the most often, they would love to slide into the fish pond and slither round the garden.
Grass snakes and smooth snakes are over here too but never seen them before.

They’re the best.
I think looks-wise my favourite is a cobra. Those hoods are just too iconic to ignore! Though I would love to own a ball python. They’re so chill and cool looking.
I don’t hate them but I don’t love them.
One time I was walking from school and in the middle of nowhere there was this big ass snake and I was terrified but managed to walk past her.

I am unhealthily obsessed with the King Cobra. I’ve studied everything about it since I was kid. I just find them so pretty and interesting.
Ball Pythons are the best! I wish I had one, alas they were supposedly too big. So im stuck with Franklin.
Cobras are cool looking, but Hognose snakes are way cuter than them.
