Woahhh…ok I am sorry but I suddenly saw this thread and although I respect peoples opinion that’s a pretty unreal one … I mean Ross ain’t that bad

  • He says the wrong name at his wedding.

  • He spends most of the show complaining and being condescending.

  • He isn’t supportive of Rachel’s career, saying he’s tired of having a relationship with her answering machine.

  • And that’s when she gets a career. Before that, he considers “just a waiter” to be a good excuse not to date her.

  • He gets overly jealous and moody, even when he’s not dating her and he’s seeing other people.

  • He claims they were on a break, but he knew what he did was wrong. That’s why he snuck the woman out of the house. And what kinda sicko sleeps with a girl when there’s not been a proper breakup talk and it’s just a few hours after the argument?

  • He got angry with Elizabeth — his student — because she wanted to wear a bikini. It’s possessive and sexist.

  • He says a lot of homophobic stuff about his ex wife. I understand she was cheating, but make the anger about that and not her sexuality

  • Whenever Rachel has a guy problem, he makes it about him. “Not. All. Men. Are. Like. That.” How freaking condescending?!

  • He brings the whole group down. Comes into the coffee shop often so depressed. Complains about his life constantly and whines.

  • When he messes up, he expects everyone to forgive him immediately. Like on his terms

And what about the time he lies about getting a marriage annulment?! Keeps Rachel married to him without her consent and without even telling her?!

Or the time he was really angry with Ben and his ex wife because Ben chose to play with a Barbie doll?

I guess what I’m trying to say is: I respect that you disagree, but he’s done a lot of bad stuff on the show! It’s not really too unreal to think he’s terrible :grimacing:

Ross is portrayed as the de-facto protagonist and his romance with Rachel is seen as this epic love story, but he’s a massive douche
