St. Andrew’s Academy Official Thread

TIMESKIP

It is now January 2nd. All students have returned due to school starting back up on the Tuesday. Leo is hosting a party at a hotel, little to his knowledge Jax is hosting one too at the same hotel the same day. So the students of both West Nottingham and St Andrews have to decide which party to attend… Will everyone go to one party leaving the other lifeless??? or will it be a mix of both students at both parties? It is Saturday and the day of the parties. We will start with them getting ready for the party. Please make sure you put what party your characters are attending.

She stood outside of the dorm building, twiddling her thumbs together behind her back while she waited for Koda to come out. She wanted to surprise him with her outfit but had forgotten her phone back at home. And she had been too busy to actually see him to talk. She just hoped he hadn’t already gone to the party.

She sighed feeling a bit anxious as she waited. Nibbling on her lower lip. “I’m sure I haven’t missed him yet… He’ll be out…” She tried to encourage herself while waiting.

A lot of people came back to school since they were starting classes back up soon again. He ended up coming back as well not long ago only a few hours since he ended up going home for Christmas like he told his mom he would. He has not seen or talked to Lexi since he has been back or all that much over break but they did text or talk a little bit luckily. He was not sure if Lexi was back and he tried to text her but no response. He decided he was going to go out tonight and have fun and decided to go to St Andrew’s party since he hated the people at West Notttigham and found them annoying there.

As he came out of his dorm building he actually saw Lexi standin there nibbling on her lower lip like she was nervous. He noticed her white 2 piece outfit and damn she looked so fucking hot. He walked over to her and hugged her tightly and picked her up spinning her around. He then placed her back down and kissed her. “Well damn babe you are looking sexy, with you in that outfit I don’t know if I will be able to take my hands off of you. Also I missed you.” He smiled and took her hand in his and held them. “Where you going to go to one of the parties?”

Lexi twiddled her thumbs together and nodded. “Yeah… The party did sound like a lot of fun. Also I’ve missed you too.” She looked away blushing. Her nerves getting the best of her, as he stood there before her. She had enjoyed his suprised hug and spin, but now all she could really think about was how d-mn good looking he was.

Koda smiled big when she said that she missed her. He took her hand in his and started to walk to a party. “So how was going home for winter break? And how is your family doing? And you missed it love, I flipped out on a new teacher we will have.”

He took her hand and began leading them to the party. “My break was pretty good. I didn’t really do anything exciting outside of spending my time with the family. They seem to be doing pretty alright. They are still adjusting with my absent.” She paused as she thought about the last thing he said. “I’m sorry, what? We have a new teacher. Wait a second… What do you mean you flipped out on the new teacher?”

As they continued to walk Koda listened intently to Lexi and what she said. “aww I’m glad to hear it baby and k bet they are adjusting. I had to adjust and it was hard but I pulled through just for you. Maybe next time I can come to your area and meet the fam if you wanted my love.”

He smiled at her. He then realized that she asked him the question about what he meant by flipped on the new teacher. “I may have yelled and called her the b word abd other things. But she started it by being the b word to me and insulted me.”

She blushed. “That would be nice. I’m sure my family would adore you just as much as I do.” She giggled at the thought of her dad, standing at the doorway with his shot gun, trying to scare away this goofy man she found herself loving more each day.

“I may have yelled and called her the b word and other things… But she started it by being the b word to me and insulted me.” He protested. Lexi let out a small sigh while clinging onto his arm. “I think… You just had a short fuse that is very easy to light.”

Koda sighed a little and shrugged his shoulders. “Maybe but I don’t think so. She thought I am slow and have some learning issues amongst some other things. She told me that she was here because she divorced her ex husband who cheated on her and I said sorry to hear that and that I am sure she would find someone quick and I don’t know she did not like it I guess and was all defensive. I was just tryin to lighten the mood but I guess it made her pissed and that where it went downhill. But to just get back at her I will actually pay attention in her class and do well to show her that if I want to be a good student then I can. But anyways did you do anything fun over break?”

@SotaForgotten - Lexi

Yeah but they can go to Jax’s if ya wanted them to go to a party. If not then they can have there own date.

Juelz spent most of the day listening to music in her earphones and laying in bed. She had the goal to finish two books by the end of the week and she wasn’t going to go to a hotel party hosted by boys she didn’t know. It was just not her speed. Even when she was in the New York fashion scene and had opportunities to go to parties, she rarely ever attended. She didn’t care about being boring - her peace was more important.

She looked at the time. 7PM. She heard her stomach growling. She really needed a snack right about now. With a groan she got out of bed and put on her black jacket and zipped it up. Then she walked out of her dorm room and closed the door behind her. She had only been at this school for five days so far, and everyone seemed nice. It was refreshing. At her old high school in New York, people were snobby or always bragging about themselves. They always thought of her as intimidating and too quiet. That was why she was glad that her parents wanted to have more of a quiet life and moved to Maryland.

Juelz was walking down the cafeteria when she spotted a girl sitting alone. She was eating a sandwich. She grabbed a sandwich and sat down in front of her. “So, you didn’t go to the party either?” She asked as she unwrapped her sandwich. She thought maybe she could start being a bit more outgoing now.

Gianna heard about these parties that are being thrown at a hotel. She almost went but decided since she just got here a few days ago it would be good to relax before classes start. As she was FaceTiming one of her friends from home she felt her stomach growl and she has not eaten anything since lunch so she decided to go to the cafeteria. She ended up hanging up with her friend from back home and got her headphones and jacket and then walked to the cafeteria. Once she got her food she sat down and it was basically empty. As she sat down she took one of her ear buds out but had one in.

As she was eating and listening to her music softly she heard a voice and looked up from her seat and saw a girl and she was pretty. Before Gianna could talk the girl ended up sitting down across from her which Gianna was perfectly fine with and was going to offer her a seat if she wanted. She took the other ear bud out and she smiled at the girl across from her. “No I didn’t I thought about going through, but I just got here a few days ago and figured it would be a good idea to rest before starting a new semester of classes. And you?”

putting this here. haha Since I posted on the wrong thread for this convo.

The tall guy with bleached blonde hair stood in front of her. His hands stretched out to her with his hoodie in them. She stood there in shock… Someone actually noticed she was cold. She was startled a little as he spoke. He said hey then said you look cold. She looked up at him for a moment before she smiled shyly and softly. “Thank you…” She said as she took in his features. She reached her arms out and took the hoodie. He looked a little familiar. Maybe she had seen him before, but she couldn’t be certain. However, she knew from now on… She would notice him. “I’m Kori…” She said as she smiled and pulled his hoodie onto herself. Little to either of their knowledge… He actually left his phone in his hoodie.

Kevin hadn’t expected her to smile. It wasn’t big or confident just shy, soft, like it surprised even her. For a second, it throws him off enough that he forgets how cold it is, forgets the noise of everyone else shifting around them. “Oh—yeah,” he says, rubbing his arm for a second. “Anytime.”

She takes the hoodie from him, fingers brushing the cuff as she pulls it toward herself. He doesn’t look away when she slips it on. It hangs loose on her frame, sleeves long enough to swallow her hands. For some reason, that gets him.

“I’m Kori…” she says. The name settles in his chest in a way he wasn’t prepared for. “Kevin,” he replies, easy but quieter than usual. His eyes crinkle with his own smile.

The alarm continues to blare behind them. People grumble. Someone laughs. But the space between them feels oddly insulated, like the rest of the world stepped back a bit.

He shifts his weight, shoving his hands into his empty pockets, more out of habit than anything else and offers her a small, crooked smile. “Fire alarms are brutal,” he says. “They always pick the worst timing.” He doesn’t move away. Doesn’t feel the need to. Instead, he glances around briefly, then back at her, like he’s checking to make sure she’s actually warm now.

“Better?” he asks. The question comes out simple, unguarded. Kevin has no idea that his phone is resting quietly in the pocket of the hoodie she’s wearing. He just knows he’s standing there, in the cold, talking to a girl he’s noticed before but never really met and for once, he’s in no rush to go anywhere.

She listened quietly as he spoke, and as she listened, she couldn’t really help but find herself agreeing with him that this teacher was out of line. “Sounds like the teacher may be a nut case… Though I do think it would be funny to see the look on their face when they grade your paperwork and see you are in fact fairly smart.” Lexi giggled as the thought alone before looking over at him. “Anyways, I didn’t really do anything too exciting of the break. Just spent my time with my family, helping where I can. When I had a little bit of free time, I hung out with a friend. We…” She trailed off trying to think of the right way to word it without exposing her secret. “Usually… Just walk around and hang out at random places…” She continued slowly.

Koda - @Kate

Jax’s party is good with me. might find some drama or something over there.

She smiled a little bigger when he spoke nicely to her. She wasn’t used of having things come so easily. She had to work hard for everything she has. Then he said that his name was Kevin. “Nice to meet you Kevin.” She said as she held out her hand to shake his as if it was a business deal. That’s how she handled most interactions. Especially at first. Kori has never had a boyfriend or even kissed a boy. Since she never had any free time. With Cross Country, Tennis, and all her other activities, Model UN, Debate, creative writing, photography and playing the violin.

She wasn’t sure why the alarm started to seem distant to her ears. She smiled at him as he spoke bringing her back to earth in a sense. “Yes, they really do pick the worst times.” She let out a soft giggle. She was always scared if she truly laughed it would scare people away. She actually had several smiles; One when something really makes her laugh. One when she’s making plans. One when she is laughing out of politeness. One when she is uncomfortable. One when she is making fun of herself. One when she is being shy. And one when… she’s talking about her friends.

Then he asked if she was better. Again she smiled a little bigger. Maybe she was appreciating someone actually caring about her. It was something new and different to her. Normally when things get this way she tends to push people away or just stop talking really. However, something was different with him. This guy seemed to have some kind of an effect her and she wasn’t sure how to process it. “Much better actually.” She smiled her shy smile again.

She wasn’t sure why… but she didn’t want this to end. She didn’t want to go back to class. She wanted time to stand still while she spoke with him. It kind of seemed that way already to her. She never really talked to guys outside of the clubs she was in, and that was just for business in her eyes. She wasn’t sure how to do this. She wasn’t even sure how she was feeling.

She felt lost, confused and out of control. She loved being in control of things. That was part of why she was in some many activities. She bite her bottom lip seeming nervous before she spoke. “Play any sports, Kevin?” She felt herself just wanting to talk to him and wanting to get to know him.

“Nice to meet you Kevin.” She said as she held out her hand to shake his as if it was a business deal. Kevin’s smile turned a little more curious than bashful at her professional like handshake, but it never wavered. He took her hand in hers and shook, letting her lead in when they dropped hands. “Naw, the pleasures all mine, Kori.” At her little giggle—Kevin couldn’t help but chuckle a bit too. He was always one for a good laugh, loved to keep the good vibes going… but this was a little different. It made me not even feel how to cold started prickling his skin. His red tipped nose and ears he’d blame on the temperature.

“Play any sports, Kevin?” He nodded—and realized he already sort of new the answer if he asked her the same question. He felt… like he’d invaded her space somehow. Not that he could have helped seeing her practice her tennis strokes—but something in him knew he definitely hadn’t needed to watch longer than walking by. “Yeah… actually I’m in the boys basketball team. I guess that comes with the territory of being taller,” he smiled a bit sheepishly, waving his hand over his head as if showing how tall he was. “H-how about you?” internally groaned at his little stutter. By now, the fire alarm was no longer blaring, but he kept his ground and waited politely for her response as a slow moving crowd crept inside.

Kori smiled as they shook hands, but she felt the electricity move through them. It was a spark she never felt before now. What was this feeling. She was conflicted about how to react to anything. She tried not to let it show that she was feeling whatever this was. She smiled a little bigger when she heard him chuckle. His laugh was cute to her. Then he informed her that he was on the basketball team.

“Oh, that’s cool. I’ve never really been into basketball…” She paused for a moment. “But… maybe I should start learning and paying attention.” She wasn’t sure what flirting was, and she hoped she was doing okay with it. She giggled again when he waved his hand over his head.

Then he asked her if she played any sports. She smiled at him before speaking. “I’m in Cross Country, and I’m on the Tennis team. I do both solo and teams in Tennis.” She said as they talked. She thought for a moment about how to keep the convo going.

“Where are you from?” She asked curious of where such a hot guy came from. Was this a coastal thing, or did all over have hot guys. She was pondering on this as she waited for his answer. She was so lost in the convo… she didn’t even notice that the fire alarm had finally stopped blaring.

Cane walked through the hallways of St Andrews at about 7 PM. He just got done skateboarding in the courtyard. He didn’t care about going to hotel parties especially when he barely knew any of the students. Hotels also brought back memories of him being drugged out or his mom and dad being drugged out. Even though he never really saw them like that, just imagining it was enough to get to him. He was glad that he wasn’t addicted to drugs anymore and he knew the parties would have plenty of them. After getting a book from the library he decided to sit in the cafeteria and read after grabbing a sandwich. Thankfully, it was relatively empty. He didn’t feel like talking to anyone at the moment. He saw two girls sitting and talking. One of them was named Gianna, at least that’s what he found out in class. He looked down at the random book he picked and started reading. It was a Goosebumps book. Childhood classic.

Cade decided to not go to any of the parties. He just decided to stay in his dorm room and hang out with Sophia. He felt awkward because he never had a girlfriend before and still hadn’t asked her out. She probably got bored and ended up wanting to go back to her dorm and do homework. Cade decided to call his friend Noah so they can hang out in his dorm.

“You still haven’t asked her out yet?” Noah asked, putting a dorito in his mouth. Cade scoffed and shook his head. He couldn’t help but laugh. “That’s rich coming from someone who didn’t have the balls to ask out Hazel, probably because you were too busy chasing after Maya like a lost puppy even though she rejected you like 300 times.” He laughed and put a dorito in his mouth.

“That’s not true. Hazel is into Elias. Besides…” Noah was going to say something else but looked off into the distance and started fidgeting.

“Are you okay bro? What’s wrong?”
Cade asked, putting his hand on Noah’s shoulder.

“Well, Elias almost got shot by Alexander tonight but they took him to jail just in time. Jonas told me. My dad Drew was just there at Leo’s party asking Elias questions.”

Cade didn’t know what to say. All he could do was blow air out of his cheeks. “Are you serious? Is Hazel okay?”

“Yeah, she left the party with Elias…” Noah felt jealous deep down because now she really was going to fall for Elias. He probably shielded her from the scene. He even has a heartbreaking backstory now.

“Did you talk to your dad Drew?”

“No, but everyone is at the Lockhart mansion. Everyone except me. Probably because I’m my dad’s bastard child.”

“Whoa dude, don’t say that. I’m sure you didn’t get invited because you weren’t at the party. You were safe and sound dude.” He patted Noah’s shoulder but it didn’t make him feel any better.

“Now, wanna play a video game?”

Colby pulled his cap down further causing his hair to smush more dramatically over his forehead. It was dark outside, and he honestly didn’t know why he was wondering the halls. If someone were to ask—he’d probably say he was exploring. It’s not like he’d been attending St. Andrew’s more than a couple days…

But maybe secretly, Colby Brett really hoped to run into his big brother. Crazy. Yeah, he had his number and he could send a text at any moment, but it always felt so weird and I’m sincere. Deep down he was half sure that wasn’t true… but Colby wasn’t sure which emotions he could trust. Also, he really did miss his parents. Not that they died or anything. But he couldn’t even imagine what happened if he called one. He really hoped his aunt hadn’t caught on either— It was very kind of her to take him in… but he wanted his real family.

His shoved his pockets into the old carhartt jacket he had found at his house while frantically packing. He didn’t really know whose it was, but he had taken it. Weirdly enough, he found a Rubik’s cube. It was only slightly smaller than an average sized one at any store. A few years ago, he tried to make it a hobby to learn to solve…. it still took him a good them minutes to figure them out. As he flipped it over in his hands, he found himself in the grand empty cafeteria. Huh. There was guy who looked sorta like Cane… He was about to pass by the whole room when the guy glanced up only slightly as he turned a page in his book. And Colby’s breath caught.

He was quiet but swift as he approached. Gently pulling out a chair, he sat, then scooted closer to the table. He swallowed, not even sure what to say to his own brother. Instead, he placed his Rubiks cube down and slowly slid it towards him. he waited and watched Cane’s reaction.
