Killian knew that Leo was thinking of Madi. The lake was there place and even after they breakup the had all remained friends but it just wasnt the same Leo had changed in his way he viewed relationships but with Killian it seemed that it might be changing again for the better. “Yeah sometimes I think about the past. Mateo smiled at the guy as he sat beside Cam. The poor guy seemed nervous and Teo understood that. Honestly if Cam wouldnt have been there he probably would have been in the same boat as Robin. “Hey Robin.” he said softly as he took a good look at Robin while listening to Cam tell him about what he had missed. “Like you go off on me when I take forever at home?” Teo asked giggling a little. “She gets hangry easy but dont take it too personally.” Teo reassured him. “My night wasnt too bad I mean you scared the hell out of me when you called me to pick you up last night. Glad you called though honestly if I wouldnt have taken you back to your room I dont want to think about what could have happened.” he admitted as he ate a little of his food and set his anxiety pill on the side of his plate to take after he had a little food in his stomach. “Havent met my roommate yet he has been out since ive been there. How about you two. Met your roommates and settling in ok?”

Liv smiled as they walked. “Well… I’m from New Zealand. I’m fifteen. I’m an out and proud lesbian. I do crew as you know, and volleyball which you also know. I also do indoor track. Auckland is nice. I have a sister and brother both older than me. My parents are still together. I love the states to be honest, and would love to explore more of them. Who knows maybe in February we can go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. I heard it’s crazy awesome.” Liv blurted it all out fast like she was so nervous all of a sudden.

Lorenzo smiled at Chloe. “Well What would my beautiful, sexy girlfriend want to do now? Maybe go back to a dorm? Are maybe some food? The park?” He said with a smirk as he stood up. He held out his hand to help her off the ground.

Leo took a deep breath and sighed. “yeah baby… Just remembering the day we met. You weren’t in the room that day. You came in later. Thankfully after we did what we did.” Leo chuckles. He would have hated for Killian to walk in on him making love to someone who wasn’t him. Well technically he wasn’t sure if it was considering making love since he didn’t love Madi at that time. He did fall for Madi but she broke his heart. That’s why he became a player.

Madi listened to Liv talk and how she told me where she was from her age, the sports she played, her siblings and how her parents are still together. Madi had a feeling Liv would want to know about her family. She then mentioned about New Orleans and Madi Gras and Madi just laughed out loud hard. It wasn’t meant to be mean but she already knows how the warden would and say. “Well I know about the sports and where you are from but didn’t know about the siblings or the rents. Also didn’t mean to laugh that loud or sound mean I just know how my mom’s reaction will be and what she will say.”
Chloe took Lorezo’s house and got up with his help. “Hmmm let’s go to a room I guess. Just not sure if my or your roommate is there or not but oh well. Plus we already ate baby and we are at the park now.” I giggle at his goofiness.

It was nice to do the dishes together like this. It was nice while they talked since it was simple. Brex kind of wondered what it was like to have siblings but wasnt sure if Kayden had a traditional relationship with his brother to be able to ask. “Thats true that there isnt really a reason to be mean especially to each other since we will be living together. Hey Kayden you can tell me if im asking too much but what is it like having a sibling Ive always kind of wondered.”
Brex was humming softly and singing to the music softly on and off as he put the dishes away. He was honestly kind of lost in his own thoughts just relaxing and enjoying that he didnt seem to have any problems with his roommate. “Yeah I know what you mean and no problem man really.” he told Kayden as he started to really get into the song that was now playing and he was holding back from belting it out but stuck to soft singing. “Yeah I practice a lot even still you practice things too?” he asked and bobbed his head to the music his messy curls falling every which way. “I dont know I havent messaged Jasper yet today to see what he is doing. Why you want to hang out or do something?”

Killian knew his history with Madi so he couldnt be upset that certain things would make him think of Madi. It was something he was going to have to get used to. Leo had dated a lot of people and Killian was sure that at least some of them had specific things that would make Leo think of them and he just had to live with that. “Im glad I was out of the room I mean you told me about it anyway but I certainly wouldnt have wanted to be there.” Killian shook his head and half heartedly pretended the though of Leo and Madi together that day was disgusting to him. “Have you seen Madi yet. I feel like i havent talked to her in so long especially since we dont really talk over breaks.”

I mean… it has only been like eight months since we broke up. Yes I know I went from her to pretty Katrina with a few people in between but yeah no… I haven’t seen her.” He said being honest.

“She gets hangry easy” Mateo’s words confused Robin. In his english accent he said “Really? She seemed the opposite to me. I actually expected her to be more angry at me, but as soon as I apologized for taking too long she was extraordinarily nice. In fact, she seemed especially nice considering she hasn’t had her breakfast yet. See I came in here hoping I could bombard the cooks with a bunch of questions since I’m really particular about my food intake and I was the last one in the line and I wasn’t aware that your sister stood behind me and I only realized when she asked me to be faster and not hog the line.” He talked as if he was being interviewed for an action he did and he tried defending Camila who was accused of being hangry.

After helping the poor kid with his ankle and advising him to watch out for cables in the future and to make sure they’re not so messy they’d be a tripping hazzard in the future, Lav went to his office and cleaned up. It was very late by that point so he didn’t see a reason why he should go home. He took a shower in the gym, and put on a fresh uniform, puting his old one in the laundry bag to bring home.
Taking one last look at his planner just in case, he started drifting off to sleep, using his jacket as a blanket.
In the morning his phone rang at 6 am, which is usually when he would wake up before commuting to work. He woke up and seeing he woke up an hour early because he didn’t have to get ready or travel, he decided to take out his notes and find out if he has any bills to pay or any necessary tasks to do. Then he started prepping for the first class and started counting the equipment and cleaned it a little bit. He took his planner to see which students would be arriving today and opened his email to see which students sent him an email excusing themselves because of an illness or something simmilar. He made it clear he would not accept an excuse if the nurse hasn’t been visited to confirm their illness is legit or that it isn’t just a hangover becuase Lav believes hangovers should be cured with light excersize. As soon as that hour passed he remembered his buddy would soon come to work so he went to the tea rooms and made himself and Robert a cup of turkish coffee, and microwaved a bagel for him. Walking towards Rob’s office he noticed the door was open. He also heard the noise of a turned on computer, the squeak of the chair and the loud but few keyboard taps. He couldn’t really knock with bagels and two coffees occupying both his hands, so he stood underneath the door frame of the open door and said “Look who’s here already. And here I thought you’d be one of the students calling in sick because of a hangover.”

Cal paused for a moment, looking at their roommate in concern. You’ve had concussions before? They cleared their throat, nodding. “That sucks, I’m sorry…” But that statement made them curious. After a moment, they added, “How do you even get in that kind of situation? Just curious, but you don’t have to tell me.”
“Yeah, I’ve heard of Ford motors. And Detroit, but I dunno anything about it.” They lifted their legs off the ground, crossing them on the bed. “Still, tell me about it!”
They took the book that Greer gave them, smiling slightly. “Thanks!” They looked at the cover as their roommate explained, nodding. When they finished the sentence, Cal’s smile turned to a grin as they turned towards Greer. “Really!? Now I have to read it. I’m non-binary too!” Though the two were assigned one of the girl’s rooms, the staff still seemed respectful of their gender. It gave Cal a different perspective on everything.

Close to her family was a broad term, not exactly how Roux would explain their relationship. Close in spirit, maybe, and only to her biological mother. And even so, their absence was easily felt. As for Shiloh, well… It’s been a long time since they’ve spoken properly. Roux wondered how she’s doing, especially now that they’re alone at a boarding school together. She never realized how much she relied on her family, even though they barely paid her any mind. She frowned slightly at the thought, looking down.
“Ehhh, I’ll be fine without them. No big deal, I have to learn to be independent!” she laughed. And what a great way to start on it, being clueless about her own schedule. “No classes until tomorrow!? Freedom!” she pumped her fists into the air.
As much as she felt like sleeping, she knew she wouldn’t manage now that her friends are here. The event she’d anticipated the most, getting to talk to them again after the summer break. To meet every day in a more peaceful environment than the one back at their old school. Especially concerning Piper. Hopefully her secret wouldn’t be exposed in this academy, she thought. Though she couldn’t openly admit it, most of her excitement came from being in the same boarding school as her friends. If anything ruined it…
“So, what do you guys wanna do today?” she sat up. “We don’t have all day, decide quick!”

Kayden was smiling when he saw Brex was bobbing his head a little to the music. He thought it was nice that they were getting along and Brex really did seem like a nice and good person. He was the second person he met so far being here and was not complaining at all, plus he also felt relaxed and not as nervous as before. As they were doing the dishes and listening to music Brex asked about what it’s like having a sibling since he never had one. “That is understandable why you asking. It’s different to be honest, I mean I was an only child for the first 14 years of my life. Sometimes it’s nice because we can play video games together and our freshman year of school he told me what the the teachers were like and which teachers to avoid if I could. Other than that it depends really, sometimes he was not home he was out and about or didn’t eat dinner with us, he would hangout in his room more often then out in the living room when we were home or I would be in my room. Think of it as someone that lives with you and you sometimes argue with or out a lot and if they aren’t then cooped up in there room a lot of times.”
Kayden nodded his head to the comment of Brex practicing and he then asked me if I stull practice things to, and was wondering if I was asking my question because he was seeing if I wanted to hangout with him or do something. “Yeah I practice some things but just for fun to be honest. I am not good and probably will never be good at it but I don’t mind. We can hangout I don’t mind, but I was asking more out of curiosity was all since it seems like you and Jasper are best friends and hangout a lot or everyday so I was not sure if you guys already made plans to do something together today.”

Madi laughs at Live when she said not this year but she already knew even if it was next year or senior year her mom still wouldn’t let her go. Say if her mom did she would be calling Madi like every hour and searching her bags before she went she felt like but maybe not, but either way she knew her mom most likely still not let her go but who knows. Madi then looked down quickly as they were walking when it came to the family question. She knew this was going to come up, she accepted what happened but she still hates to really talk about it. “Yeah I told you what sports I play which was Crew and Girl’s Basketball. I’m also 15 so we are the same age. Also I have a tattoo on my foot but my mom does not know, she would probably kill me if she knew.”
Madi then takes a quick deep breath about to tell her the family information. She was not going to outright tell her, her mom is the headmistress but if Liv asked she would be honest, but McGrath is a pretty common last name so maybe she wouldn’t ask. “As for my family dynamic, it’s just my mom and I. My dad just left my mom and I 2 years ago and never contacted us. After he left he did file for divorce so you can say he divorced my mom and abandoned us.”

Koda laughs at Roux as she said that she needed to learn to be independent and how she was excited that classes started the next day and she had all day and asked us what we wanted to do then said we don’t have all day. “Well someone woke up pretty fast I would say. Yes you have freedom for another 24 hours or say bestie, so we can do whatever we want without any pressure. As for being independent yes you do need to learn, think of this as being away at school. You will be away from your parents, but you can do whatever you want and you can still talk to your parents and see them on break. Also is energetic girl hungry we can get something to eat to start it off.”

“Yeah I was on quite the adventure but … I didn’t learn much considering I haven’t practiced HTML in a while and I forgot a lot about it, and I remeber some C++ but having knowledge only in that isn’t very practical. I’d love to learn Java or Python. Did you learn on your own or was it a subject in school? I’m asking becuase I want to learn HTML again and I want to learn Java and Python as well, but don’t know if I should opt for some other option or if it’s avaliable in a subject here.”
Paris looked at the screen and realized the Sims were already loaded for a while and they didn’t notice because they talked so mcuh about coding. “So, which part of the Sims is your favorite? I make characters with huge backstories, fill out that text about the character story that most people don’t use at all. Do you torture your sims, do you only use build mode or do you like only the dress up part?”

It was some Looney Tunes level sh!t.” They smiled when Cal expressed interest in Detroit. ”Ok, so Ford motors was actually created in Dearborn, but Detroit is still called the motor city, most likely because that’s where most of the cars are actually manufactured. Well, now only two car companies manufacture there, but the name still sticks. The city went into decline years ago, but the city’s still kicking. That’s the thing with Motown. They don’t give up.” Greer smiled wistfully. ”Detroit is just as much as my home as Lansing, where I was born. That’s the capital of Michigan. They’re only an hour and thirty minutes away. Several of my relatives live there.” Cal said they were non binary too, and Greer’s grin nearly split their face in half. ”Well, that sure makes things easier. I’m guessing you use they\them too? I’m just glad everyone had been cool enough to use my preferred pronouns. Besides, male and female are the sexes assignment at birth, so we were placed according. I’m not bothered at all that I’m in the girl’s dorm.”

Liv listened carefully. She took in what Madi said about her family. She wasn’t sure how to respond at first. She thought for a few minutes. “I’m sorry to hear that about your dad. That does suck, but hey you’re great. So at least you didn’t lose yourself.” She offered Madi a smile.

She smiled then spoke. “I say good first. Then explore the school. I heard there was a town close by. Like a 10 minute walk. We could go there and explore tool She said with excitement.

Killian honestly considered that. He hadnt thought that it had been that recent it felt way longer ago than eight months. “Yeah you did move kind of fast and I mean I already told you how I feel about you but you still are moving kind of fast hot stuff.” Killian sighed he hadnt really thought about how many people Leo had dated after Madi and how fast he had been with and broken up with each one. “Maybe we should reach out see if she wants to hang out?”

Mateo looked down and away from his sister he had meant it as a playful jab but realized that it came off a bit to harsh for that. “Sorry Mila didnt mean for it to come off like that.” Teo didnt know what secretes she was talking about exactly he had a lot but he would rather not find out. Teo went quiet and started to eat again he had started to spiral as to exactly what secretes of his, his sister would share if he said the wrong thing. He trusted Cam but he couldnt get his thoughts to stop. Just kept eating hoping that he could stop the stupid spiral of thoughts if he tried hard enough. He really didnt want to have a panic attack first thing in the morning over something this stupid and in front of someone new who clearly had already gotten off on the wrong foot with.

He then replayed Killian’s words in his head. “Well yes we did admit how we feel about each other but we aren’t official yet. I do think I need some time before I can make that happen. Madi listened to what Liv said about her dad and she asked Madi when her birthday was since they are the same age. “Yeah actually Leo did it for me or took me to a place to get it done but my mom have no idea about it.” Madi smiles at Liv. “To answer your question my birthday is September 4th, what about you?”
She walked in silence for a few moments before she said anything else as she was trying to remember that day. It was one of the worst and best days her dad left and she met Leo and they dated for a year which was shocking it lasted a decent amount of time. “Not your fault about my sperm donor of a father, I guess he was cheating on my mom so yeah ya know. Thanks I appreciate the compliment of me being great, as for losing myself in a way I did. I had a lot of anger built up. The day I found out about my dad I punched a mirror and broke it and cut my knuckles and then went for a walk and landed at the lake. I am pretty sure my mom knew I hurt myself but she didn’t come in that day luckily.”
Chloe was being pulled by Lorenzo which she didn’t mind at all. She could tell that he was very excited and it looked like he was walking back towards campus. “Let’s go to the abandoned shack where the party was last night it would probably be the safest bet on not to get caught.”

Killian nodded acknowledging they were not official honestly he didnt want to be official yet, He smile when he heard that leo wanted time too. “I agree thats why I was going to suggest that we can like act on our attraction more now but we arent like officially dating yet.”

She then listened to the rest of what Madi said about her dad. “Still sorry about your dad. Well that’s good your mom didn’t come in.” Liv said as they reached the mall.

Leo looked at Killian. “Let’s go into town and get food first. Then we can decide what else to do.” He then listened to Killian about them. “Yeah, that’s why I said it babe. I don’t think we should rush into being official. Just see what happens between us.”
