Killian was so happy as they just hung out and ate. “Perfect you pick a time and then im down to have you in the studio with me.” He leans in to get a kiss from him. He really liked to think about all that they had in store for them this year and in the future to come. “I thought who ever did them for you drew them. I dont know worst case I thought maybe one of the guys you knew from the gang.” Killian shrugged honestly not sure who he had thought drew Leo’s tattoos. “Yeah we can go to the mall after we eat. You know Im so happy to have you around right?”

Mateo looked at the drawing shocked. It was amazing. Between him and Cam he now knew the two most artistic people ever. “So what do you say Robin want to be friends?” Teo asked smiling at him. He honestly thought Robin was cute and Teo liked that he seemed kind of shy because he could relate to that. Teo giggled when Robin joked about messing up his face in the drawing. “I honestly think it looks better than my real face so I would say you did good man it looks amazing honestly.”

As they walked in silence, Ken couldn’t help but feel a mixture of relief and disappointment. He was relieved that Rodney had taken his words well and understood his hesitation. But at the same time, he couldn’t shake off the feeling of regret, as if he had just missed out on a chance to experience something beautiful. The more Ken thought about it, the more conflicted he became. He wondered if he had made the right choice by turning down Rodney’s request. Would it have been so terrible to let go, to allow himself to be vulnerable and dive into the unknown? They had connected in such a short amount of time, it was an exciting bond that Ken was afraid to tarnish.
“Rodney, I want you to know that it’s not because I don’t want to kiss you," Ken said, hardly above a whisper. “I just… I have someone else in my life who’s trying to force a relationship. And… yeah, at first he was great and I wanted him in my life but that this point I… I think I hate him. I just don’t want our connection to be rushed or overshadowed by physical intimacy. I want us to get to know each other on a deeper level, to build a strong foundation before we take that step.” He stopped walking, to see if Rodney would follow suit. He held out his hand, to see if he would take it. He was a little nervous as a slight blush creeped across his ears and cheeks.

As Vince held Jayda in his arms, he couldn’t help but feel a surge of joy and exhilaration. Her laughter filled his ears, and her playful words only made him want to hold her tighter. The brief interruption from Jade’s whispered words had momentarily brought him back to reality, but now all he could think about was Jayda.
With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Vince carried her out of the bakery and onto the bustling street. His heart raced as he felt her gaze locked with his, their connection stronger than ever before. Her comment about him being sweet brought a smile to his lips, and he couldn’t resist teasing her in return.
“Well, bellissima(Extremely beautiful), my charm knows no bounds.” he winked with a smile. “I have managed to break through your hardened exterior and reveal the sweetness within,” Vince replied, his tone dripping with playful sarcasm. It was nice to hear their playing banter wasn’t extinguished.

Madi giggled as well. The way Liv said well… than you she was worried maybe she just made things awkward so she decided that she would apologize. Liv also agreed to go to Claire’s after as well which made Madi happy. “Sorry about my comment if it made you uncomfortable I didn’t mean it. Okay yay we have a plan of action for next store.”
Chloe was a little sad that she couldn’t trick her man but then again they do still know each other very well so that could be the reason why. “Fine you win! You know I still don’t care about steps. Why must you now me so well?” Chloe lets Lorenzo kiss her cheek and she smiled as he did this.

Brex smiled when he caught Kayden dancing a little to the music too. Honestly Brex had a really good feeling about Kayden being his roommate. Brex finished putting the dishes away and just smiled and giggled softly as they danced around their room a little. “Less so with me more so with each other. I was a lot younger than most of them but there were a few that were young enough to be like an older brother age.” Brex supplied hoping that made a bit of sense at least. “Yeah no problem. I mean like if you think of anything or you want to know anything ever just let me know mate. I live with you so least I can do is answer any questions you have.”
Brex was happy Kayden seemed to be coming out of his shell even if it was just a little bit and it was in the form of not so great dancing. It was still a lot of fun. “I mean if you want to teach me im totally game. But I will leave that up to you. I would love to teach you in return if you want.” Brex turned the music up a little ans smiled it wasnt too loud that they couldnt still talk but it was a little louder than just background noise now. “We really clicked off the bat and spent pretty much the full day together so i dont know man but it feels like Ive known Jasper for ever he is just so easy to talk to and super sweet but not in like sickeningly nice kind of way. Does that make sense?”

Theo was busy hanging the posters. He then heard Evelyn. “Congratulations. That’s a big step for you for sure.” He could hear the excitement the second time she said it. “I’m sure she will respond soon.” He said with hope in his voice for Evelyn.

Leo listened to Killian. “Well I’m good with anytime. You let me know what works for you.” He said to the studio time thing. Then Killian leaned in. Leo leaned in too and kissed him. “I could see why you would think that baby. But I drew them.” He smiled. “Cool. I love walking around the mall to be honest. I’m glad because I love having you around as well.” He said as he finished eating and paid the bill. He then left the tip as well. They headed out and to the mall.

He nodded to let Ken know he was listening. When Ken stopped walking Rodney did too. He wanted Ken to know nothing changed. Ken then reached out his hand and Rodney gently took it in his own. He smiled at Ken. “It’s okay Ken. I understand. I don’t want you feeling pressured. It’s not that I want to move fast. I’m just… well like I said I want to get to know you better as well. I just… well I couldn’t help but want to kiss you. I mean have you seen your face? You’re just so cute.”
Rodney said with a smile. He was nervous himself if he was being honest. However he knew he had to try and act like he wasn’t. He couldn’t help but fall fast with Ken. He hd never had that happen before he met Ken. Hell he hasn’t even had a boyfriend yet. Yeah he has kissed people but never dated anyone. Rodney took a deep breath. “Ken. Honestly… I haven’t ever had a boyfriend before. Like I’ve been on dates. I’ve kissed guys. Just never had an actual boyfriend. So I don’t want to move too fast either. It’s just…. With you… I don’t know… it just feels so right and easy… effortless. I feel I’m using bad words to describe it. It’s just like this incredible bond I feel with you.”

Jayda couldn’t help but giggle more. She knew her walls had been up with him. Hell she had walls up with everyone. “Well Vince… I’m like an onion. You have to peel back my layers one at a time. That’s why it took you three years to finally get me to kiss you.” She giggled as she thought about everything over the past three years. The way they met. The first time they actually hung out after they met. All the time they spent together over the past three years. Yet they had never dared say the words they did last night. She was still shocked all that happened.
The only time there had really been apart over the last three years was the summer times. Of course Vince had to go back to Italy where his family was at. Honestly that hurt Jade every time. She just didn’t try to think about that. It always made her sad. She looked into his eyes. “Vince… What are we gonna do after I graduate and it’s summer? You always go back to Italy after the school year. Then next year I’ll be in college somewhere while you are still here.” She could only hope she would get into a college close to here. So she could see him all the time.

She stopped walking for a minute and looked at her phone. Evelyn texted her. She read the text. It was three messages. She had never deleted Evelyn’s number. She don’t hve the heart to. She didn’t even block her. She knew Evelyn blocked her though. So this was the best thing.

Kayden was having fun dancing even though he really stinks but he didnt care they were both having a little roommate dance party to random music. Brex then mentioned that Kayden can as him any questions he wants if he has any. “Thanks man I appreciate it really and the same for me. Feel free to ask me any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability.”
Kayden was happy that Brex didn’t make a big deal out of his shyness or care that he changed when his parents died. There was a lot of kids that would make a big deal of it or think that he is weird. Brex then talked more about Jasper and how he feels lie he known Jasper for ever. “Oh wow that’s always awesome to have a friend and feeling like that believe me. It does make sense I kind of feel like that with Finn and other people I was friends with before I was adopted.”
Kayden then remembered Brex said that if Kayden wants to teach him drums then he would be down and he would teach me as well if I wanted. “I forgot to answer your question man. I would love to teach you and I don’t mind you teaching me either.”

Madi could tell that Liv looked confused as why I apologized. Liv then said that Madi did not make her uncomfortable it was just a shock. "Well still didn’t mean to shock you, and I apologized since we are really in a way meeting for the first time and really talking and hanging out. Madi smiled as they checked out and knew where they were going next. She has not been to Claire’s in forever and does need even more earrings as well.
They both payed and walked out of the store and heading towards Claire’s when Liv stopped and looked at her phone. As they were stopped Liv told Madi that her ex bet friend and roommate texted her which she was happy she knew it was going to happen sooner or later. “Yeah I remember and no rush at all take your time. That is good to hear that she reached out. Who knows maybe you guys will become friends or best friends again.”
Chloe laughs at Lorenzo when he is talking and says that he always knows her. “Yeah I know that you will always know me I was just hoping I could have played a little trick on you was all but it didn’t work.” She enjoyed that he said that if she changes he will learn of them. Baby there are things that you don’t know about me that I kept to myself, some of it was at the end of our relationship and some was after.”

TIMESKIP- Evening Now
Leo smiled as they talked and went to the mall. He had answered all of Killians replies. They got to the mall and started shopping around. He was having so much fun with Killian. He had found a few shirts for both himself and Killian. He also got Killian a pair of pants. Then he found himself some pants and some shorts. They were walking around and having fun. He thought he saw his ex but wasn’t sure. They really hadn’t seen each other since they broke up. “What store do you want to go to now?” He asked Killian as they walk.

Jasper asked Finn if he met anyone interesting yet. Or if anyone stood out. He smiled as he thought about Kayden. “This guy Kayden. He is so sweet and cute.” He said before they went to get some lunch. They then went back to their dorm room and talked more. He couldn’t wait to see Kayden later.
After Timeskip
Jasper and Finn had talked and hung out well into the evening. He was wondering if he was gonna see Kayden tonight. As they sat in their room after getting lunch and stuff. They had came back to the room and were talking again. “Well have you met anyone who stands out.” He asked Jasper as they sit there and Finn realizes it’s not dark outside. When Greer warned Cal not to be like them, they laughed awkwardly. “Might be a little late for that… I’ve ran into walls before too. Accidentally.” With their fist, at that. They smiled, continuing. “Well, even if you don’t get straight As, you know a lot. I mean, you’re at St. Andrews so you obviously deserve a place.”
“I’ve never travelled outside my country until now, actually. I switched cities when I was little, but this is insane. A whole different continent,” they sighed. The thought of their brothers came back to their mind, and they shook it off as soon as it did.
“Oh, damn, I’m so glad your family is accepting. I don’t know about mine…” Truth was, they didn’t know if they should even tell them. There was enough trouble going on. “It’s not important, anyway.”

As Koda stated his opinion on the classes, Roux nodded thoughtfully. “You know what? You’re right. Maybe this elite rich school has cooler classes than back home. I wonder how they work…”
Afterwards, Koda left the room to give the girls space to get dressed. Roux closed the door, turning to Piper. “I already have outfits planned for the next whole week! Wanted to leave a good impression,” she laughed. “Do you have anything you wanna wear?” She opened her wardrobe, sorting through the clothing. Normally it wasn’t so organized, but the previous day was just really boring. Especially without her friends…
“Roux… we gotta find me someone to date.”
Roux froze up as she heard that. Someone to date? For Piper? She laughed awkwardly, turning around. “We? Well…” She got silent, her lips tightening. She turned around pulled the clothes out of her wardrobe, trying to keep the silence less awkward. “What a coincidence! I uh… Was thinking the same thing about me yesterday!”

Too late to ask now. A genuine smile of gratitude spread across Greer’s face at the compliment. ”Thank you so much, Cal. You don’t know how much that means to me. Also, I completely understand if this is a touchy subject, so you don’t have to say, but what’s your full name? Again, you don’t have to say.” Greer nodded. ”I bet you’re probably having some serious culture shock, huh? Just let me know if you need help with anything regarding American culture. I can…try to help. I’ve been around the US.” The smile then slid off Greer’s face. No one should have to deal with being misgendered. ”You haven’t told them? I won’t ask, don’t worry. Rob laughed at Coltrane’s comments. He wanted to keep sipping his coffee as they talked, but at this point he’d risk choking. Or worse, damaging the computer. “Oh, poker? Now that’s a challenge!” He closed the tab on his computer and opened a browser. “What’s it called? You might’ve been joking, but it’s on now, pal. I’m not one for gambling, but I’ll have you know I have experience. And I’m feeling very lucky.”
The coach then mentioned he’s going to check on the kid. “You’re leaving me so soon? Did the talk about competing against me scare you, professor?” Despite his joking attitude, he had to admit the room would feel empty without his friend to talk to. Nobody really arrived this early or they were all busy with class preparations. “Kidding, you go check up on him. Wouldn’t want something to get worse. But do you need me to come with? I’ll be honest, I’m gettin’ pretty bored in this office.”

“Not exactly clumsiness, more like…” they paused, unsure of how to say it. Casually admitting to having anger issues wasn’t going to happen. They didn’t want to scare off a potential friend. “…Well, carelessness is a better word, I guess.” They didn’t mind the touch on their shoulder, smiling in response.
“Oh, are you wondering what Cal’s short for? It’s Calypso. But then again, I chose this name myself… Like a week ago. I think I should’ve gone with something with meaning behind it, but I like how this sounded.” They shrugged. Too late, anyway. They were attached. “What about you though? Any story behind your name?”
They smiled, appreaciating Greer’s offer to help them get settled in. “Oh, thank you! So far, well…” Cal was too overwhelmed about being in a completely different environment, they didn’t know what to point out first. “The weirdest thing is having to speak English all the time, I think.”
But in the end, they were no longer home. And they didn’t know if it was a good thing or a bad thing.

It’s also a type of music. Sorry, huge Greek mythology nerd.” Greer had to think. ”I can’t really remember. I think my parents just thought it was cool. I mean, fair. It’s a pretty cool name. I think it means to be watchful and quick. Pretty accurate, honestly. Anxiety is fun.” Greer smiled. ”Yeah, constantly speaking English is probably hard. If it makes you feel better, you’re doing great.” They simply nodded when Cal said their family was busy, deciding to drop it.

Kayden, that name sounds familiar, Jasper thought to himself. He then realised why he knew the name, Brex had mentioned the name as his roommate during the party. It peaked his interest, Finn seemed to be into this guy Kayden, while Jasper was developing a crush on Kayden’s roommate. “Kayden, eh? Sounds like you’ve got a good vibe from him. Always awesome to meet someone sweet and cute.” While Jasper smiled as he said that, it wasn’t quite honestly how Jasper felt. Sweet and cute was fun, for sure, but more often Jasper found himself pulled to the somewhat more mysterious, the intriguing, not anything as straightforward as being sweet and cute. That’s how he felt about Brex too. He had met him not long ago, but he had such a strong desire to slowly but steadily get to know everything about him, how he acts, what is going through his mind.
After the timeskip
Jasper had had a fun day getting to know his roommate, they talked a bit about theatre, Finn showed Jasper some pictures he had taken and they had discussed their upcoming year at the academy. It was all around a good afternoon. Then Finn asked whether he had met someone who stood out, Jasper hesitated for a second but then said, “You know, a few interesting characters here and there. It’s a diverse crowd, and that’s what makes it fun. Met this one guy, Finn, right here,” Jasper gestured toward Finn with a friendly nod. “He’s got a good vibe” Jasper gave a chuckle, “Oh, you meant truly standing out, as in possibly romantic? Well, don’t tell anyone, but I think I might be developing a little crush on Kayden’s roommate, Brex.” His face lit up at the thought of Brex. After sleeping on it, and the further conversations him and Brex had the previous night, Jasper had come to terms with possibly having feelings for Brex. It was still scary, but not as overwhelming or confusing to him anymore. “Bit of a coincidence, isn’t it?” Jasper grinned playfully, then an idea hit him, and his eyes started sparkling with mischief as he shared the idea, “Should we go pay them a visit and make things interesting?”

Follow me,” he said, taking the lead as they walked through the bustling city. The sun had set and the city lights and the energy around them created a vibrant atmosphere, and Owen was eager to share this experience with Lila.
As they strolled through the lively city, Owen couldn’t help but feel a sense of contentment. The evening air was crisp, and the city lights illuminated their path. Glancing over at Lila, he couldn’t help but admire how her eyes sparkled with excitement.
“You know, I’ve always enjoyed the vibe of this city when it’s dark. It’s like a whole different world,” Owen remarked, smiling at Lila. “And there’s something magical about sharing it with someone special.” He gently squeezed her hand, appreciating the connection they were building.
As they approached the restaurant, Owen held the door open for Lila, gesturing for her to enter first. The warm ambiance and the inviting aroma of food greeted them as they stepped inside.
Owen, with a genuine smile, had led Lila to a cozy Nigerian restaurant, proud to share a piece of his heritage with her. The interior was adorned with vibrant colors, and the air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of authentic Nigerian cuisine.
As they settled into their seats, Owen couldn’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia, the familiar scents and sounds reminding him of family gatherings and celebrations. He looked at Lila with a warmth in his eyes, “I thought you might enjoy experiencing a bit of my culture. Even if I’m born and raised in the states, my parents have always raised me and my sister very multicultural. This place has some of the best Nigerian dishes, and I’m excited for you to try them.”
The menu offered a variety of options, from jollof rice to suya, and Owen was more than happy to guide Lila through the choices. “If you’re up for it, we can even try a bit of everything and share. That’s the best way to enjoy Nigerian cuisine,” he suggested, eager to make the culinary experience as enjoyable as possible for both of them.
As they ordered, Owen shared stories about his family and the traditional dishes they often enjoyed. The restaurant buzzed with a lively atmosphere, and Owen couldn’t have been happier to share this part of his identity with someone as special as Lila.

Oh, Greer was observant. They immediately figured out the reason. Cal awkwardly laughed, trying to divert the attention. “Pshh, whaaat? Nooo…” they looked down. “I swung the door open out of excitement, but well…” They sighed, unsure how to continue. In a way, it was still poor emotional control. “Anyway! Calypso, you were saying? To be honest, I’m not very knowledgeable about mythology, but I’ve been meaning to learn. There’s so many stories and different interpretations, I think I could get lost for days.” They leaned back as they talked. “What more is there to the myth?”
Cal then listened to Greer explain the meaning behind their name. From what they’d observed, it seemed to fit. But as they heard rhem mention “anxiety”, their heart dropped. “Oh, I’m sorry you have to deal with that,” they frowned. “Are you feeling okay? I know it’s a stupid question.”
They smiled slightly at the compliment of their English skills. Greer was the second person to say that. It was a relief to have no trouble communicating, being so lost in tv shows and movies as a kid paid off great.

Victoria had woken up late in an empty room. She didn’t quite remember what had happened the previous night, just that she had gone to the party, had a few drinks and then it was all a blur from there. She wasn’t even quite sure how she had gotten back in the room. Her head was hurting, and it was way too bright in the room already. Reluctantly she left her bed, got some painkillers and took a shower, hoping to feel a bit more refreshed after. Unsuccessfully, so after the shower, she decided to read a book in bed for a while hoping the pain would numb and her head would stop hurting. She honestly didn’t feel like really doing anything today, just nice and cozied up in her bed with a good distraction. The time kept ticking away, and the hours had passed, but the painkiller hadn’t quite helped, sure enough it in combination with rest it had taken the roughest layer off of the pain, but it hadn’t taken it all away. Maybe some fresh air is what I need, she decided by the time it was already dark outside.
Usually she put quite some effort into her appearance, but now she just went out of the door with her hair in a quick ponytail and nothing fancy clothing wise, just a black legging and a white loose fitting t-shirt with some sneakers. As she walked around campus, she notices a girl carrying a load of sports equipment. Her innate sense of courtesy and willingness to assist prompted her to step forward, even with how she was feeling. With a confident yet approachable demeanor, she called out, “Excuse me” she inquired, her tone carrying a refined accent that reflected her London upbringing. “May I offer a hand with that? It seems you have quite a load there.”
As she drew closer, Victoria’s discerning gaze fell upon the assortment of sports gear. A subtle smile graced her features as she remarked, “A fellow volleyball enthusiast, I presume? It appears you have quite the collection of equipment, and the presence of a volleyball has piqued my interest, so if you’ll allow me?” She extended her hand to help carry some of the equipment the girl was carrying. Her offer to help wasn’t merely an act of kindness but also a sophisticated way to initiate a conversation, finding common ground in their shared appreciation for the sport.
