INFORMATION:
This roleplay is a revamp of Hanabira Academy and is based on becoming a JPOP Idol, Think Love Live. It’s like a stereotypical anime except with more realism. Not too far off though, This Academy and RP is set in Japan. Of course, it isn’t exactly limited to the school! We encourage having more going on within your character’s life- Granting somewhat of an open world. This roleplay will have many exciting feats and events for every character to enjoy and unlike Hanabira this will be set at college level.
GOAL:
Students at StarRise Academy aim to excel in their training to win the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be in the debuting group, RadianceX! The academy will only be accepting SIX members into the group, emphasizing talent, resilience, teamwork, and adaptability in the highly competitive entertainment industry. Will you work hard and achieve success by debuting or falling back behind your peers?

- PLEASE Be active! A post every 4 days is required, If you give an excused reason as to why you need more than 4 days please pm me. After a week of inactivity, you will receive a warning through pm. After 2 weeks your character(s) will be put up for adoption.
- Relationships are allowed but sure it’s nothing too intimate, Make it minimal with a trigger warning, Anything too descriptive take it to PM.
- Do not attempt to kill characters without permission from the owner of said character.
- Please add the location to your character’s name so it won’t be confusing on where you were if you take some time off the rp.
Academy Rules!

Upon entering the school, you must find your locker, and change your shoes from your outdoor shoes to the school shoes stored inside. Vice versa upon leaving the school.

Attendance: Mandatory for all scheduled classes, practices, and performances.

Punctuality: Arrive on time for all training sessions and events.

Lunch can be eaten in the cafeteria, in the training class, in the courtyard, or on the roof. Some students even eat on the staircases (so as long as they don’t block the passage).

Students are required to wear simple training uniforms when in training classes and then proceed to change in written classes. In this case, A simple white shirt/crop-top/t-shirt with shorts or loose sweatpants, and sports gear or hoodies are optional.

Buses are not sent to pick up students. Students usually ride to the academy on public transit (and passage on the public bus is free with I.D.), or with a family member, or driver, or they walk to school.

Unless the student has a medical reason from a doctor, all students participate in physical training.

Class meetings are thirty minutes long at the most, and are basically about upcoming events (like school activities or upcoming practice appearances) and can hold votes on what the class will do for the festival.

Near the end of the first training period for the Mid-term exams (just before summer vacation). Classes are canceled for exams, and different exams are taken for an entire week of school. Near the middle of the third training period will be final exams. Classes are canceled for the week of exams.

The teacher determines punishments for failing to bring in homework. Punishment for disrupting class is that the student must stand outside the classroom until the teacher decides the student learned his/her lesson, punishment for skipping school requires the student to catch up, and if they are too absent, suspended or expelled.

Student check-ups are taken once a year as a check up on the student’s to make sure they are healthy. It will take place over the course of two days. They will most likely take place near the beginning of the second semester, a week after summer vacation ends. Classes are canceled on these days.

**If a student gets sick over the school year, typically, the student calls the school and tells their teacher they will be out with said illness.

There is a school yearbook, and it is like any other yearbook, but with only staff, students, and performances. There are no extra pictures.

All classrooms have two representatives from the classroom. One of the representatives usually goes to the meetings held by the members of the student council to state many different things. They are also responsible for maintaining the class choice for the activities, and for many other things the teachers assign to them. If both representatives happen to be absent, then the trainee teacher designates a student to go to the meeting.

Classroom cleanups are assigned to different students on different days. They are often written on a list, and put in the classroom for the students to read. The class representative usually helps with making the list.

All students must have their dorm cleaned and polished before heading off to any part-time job or school. If they live in said dorms.

During this roleplay, students can earn StarPoints, which are points that will go toward their overall grade which will help determine if you get debuted into RadianceX or not. Remember, only six students will succeed, so the top 6 will be the ones winning the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
GRADING:
Grading - Every two weeks, A board will be posted in the lounge for all to see. Detailing who has done the most impressive work in their classes, another board will be posted showcasing who has earned the most points. Both #1 Positions in each board will receive a reward from the rewards list, Then upon the end of each term which is 3 months, after mid-terms report cards will be issued detailing your overall grade for said term.

Fans can vote on their favorite students weekly. Points are awarded based on fan votes and engagement metrics, with bonuses for creativity and consistency.

The academy hosts special events like music festivals, talent shows, and charity concerts. Participating in these events and winning competitions earn significant points. Winners receive high points, with additional points for teamwork and sportsmanship.
Mentorship and Peer Support
Students can mentor their peers, helping them improve their skills. This fosters teamwork and leadership qualities. Successful mentorship, as evidenced by the mentee’s improvement, earns both mentor and mentee points.
Hidden Challenges and Easter Eggs
Throughout the roleplay, there are hidden challenges or tasks that, when completed, award bonus points. The Six Roles!
Leader: The leader is responsible for guiding and uniting the group. They often handle communication with the company, make decisions during group activities, and act as the spokesperson.
Musical Contribution: Leaders may not always have a distinct musical role, but they often have solid all-around skills in singing, dancing, or rapping.
Lead Vocalist: The main vocalist is the strongest singer in the group. They typically handle the most challenging parts of a song, such as high notes, ad-libs, and vocal runs.
Musical Contribution: The main vocalist often carries the melody in the song and is featured prominently in vocal-heavy tracks.
Lead Rapper: The main rapper is the strongest rapper in the group, often responsible for the most complex and significant rap verses in songs.
Musical Contribution: The main rapper typically writes their own lyrics and may also contribute to the group’s overall creative direction.
Lead Dancer: The main dancer is the best dancer in the group, responsible for executing the most complex and eye-catching choreography. They often take center stage during dance breaks.
Musical Contribution: While their primary focus is dance, main dancers often have strong singing or rapping abilities as well.
Visual: The visual is the member who best fits the group’s image and is often considered the most attractive by industry standards. They are the “face” of the group in marketing and promotional materials.
Musical Contribution: Visuals may not have a specific musical role, but they contribute to the group’s overall appeal and often handle solo promotions or acting roles.
Maknae: The maknae is the youngest/cutest member of the group, often taking on a playful persona. They may be the “baby” of the group, but they can also be powerful performers.
Musical Contribution: Maknaes are often multi-talented, contributing to singing, rapping, and dancing. They may also have a strong fan following due to their youth and charm.
