Stories that made you scared of doing random stuff!

So, I think we all know the story about the human who died in class because they couldn’t sit still in their chair (or at least every German seems to know that story) which was used to scare kids away from leaning back too much on their chair in school :eyes::eyes:
My kindergarten teacher also used to tell us one about a kid losing their tongue because they licked their knife which made me scared of knives until I was 8 :grinning:
And I’m still scared of wearing rings because of one of my 10th grade teachers, but that story doesn’t really belong on the main forums (too much blood and the loss of a finger was involved) :eyes::eyes:

So do you know any other stories that are supposed to scare kids/teens away from doing random stuff?

Bathroom stalls lol especially at night
Working at a gas station at night
Staying home alone

I can do all of this (expect the gas station lol)

After watching Mr. Nightmares stories on YouTube I always stay careful of my surrounding’s

gas stations at night are so creepy, I couldn’t imagen working there.
Oh or other stories of working in a factory.

I actually can’t think of anything like that in my own life, though :thinking:
