Rough Draft
"the Italian mafia is the biggest and most powerful in the game with the most infamous history behind them. they have ties in America but bigger influence in Italy. the don of the mob’s son, adonis is being groomed to be the new leader because of the don’s medical condition. but that’s the thing, adonis doesn’t WANT to be the new don, he doesn’t want to be the new don. he’s grown out of that life and has his wife and future to care about, after all it’s the same life that took his brother. yet adonis still flies to italy with his wife to work with his father until it’s time for adonis to step up. the more work adonis puts in the more adonis resists working for him. his breaking point is when his wife gets abducted from the mafia’s enemies but was able to get her back with bruises and emotional trauma. adonis loses his mind and gets into a fight with his father which leads to his father’s death. adonis’s wife, tameika, eventually leaves him and now adonis is all alone and is running the empire like he never wanted to. after a few months the feds raid everything leaving adonis to flee… but where to? and that’s the end.

So this story sounds good! It could have some very interesting themes if you write it long enough. I’ll give you some title ideas and explainations for them.
Off the Block- This isn’t a very good title for a story like this, which is why I started with it. I’ll work up to the good ones. I based this title off of the saying “Chip off the ol’ block”.
Atropos- Atropos is the name of one of the Fates of Greek mythology; Namely, the sister who cuts the thread and ends a life. The name means “The Inflexible”, and I feel like all of this can describe the inesacpable nature of the Mafia and Adonis’ destiny that he eventually ends up fulfilling.
Prodigal- I feel like this one is pretty obvious, the son returning home and obeying his father. Still sounds kinda cool, though.
Timber- This is one I really like. Timber is actually another word for tree, as in “family tree” and “apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree”. Adding to that, the association with lumberjacks shouting “Timber!” as their trees fall makes a good analogy to Adonis and his life as they both come crashing down.
If you don’t like any of these, that’s fine. I just hope this gave you ideas, and I hope this helps.
