She’s a really good friend to Eleven, taking her shopping was a really nice thing to do plus she gave great advice when it came to treating Els wound.

i’m pretty sure it’s because she always compares mike and eleven’s relationship to her’s and lucas when they’re different. like for example since max broke up with lucas 30 times she’s telling eleven to break up with mike even though they’re different situations.
and some people are just mad she broke up mileven lol (but i personally like max and think she’s a great character)
