If you’re a writer or an artist with a story, I recommend trying out Tapas!
It’s kinda like Wattpad, but they make a big deal out of their comics a well as their novels. The good news is that they pay writers!
You have to reach 100 subscribers on 1 story to unlock ad revenue and you have a limit of 15,000 characters per episode if you want to be on their featured sections (that’s actually not a lot), but the competition is a lot less fierce than on Wattpad or Episode, and they don’t have the reputation of banning people who’ve spent ages on their stories cough cough.
Plus, you can be sure you 100% own your story. It’s not like with the weird perpetual licenses of Episode stories where you’re not sure how much of your work they own!
I recommend it so much!
I haven’t started writing on it, but my plan is to write The Queen of Freaks on both Wattpad and Tapas and hope for the best, plus keep the most saucy chapters on my Patreon (when I figure out how to write those saucy chapters well).
