I’ll be trying to get the starting post for your mission ready by the end of the weekend.
Sorry for the wait, a block hit me
That’s okay, I often have the same blocks but I have much more free time than you and it happens more often to me. It’s maybe because I don’t read as often as I should like and I end up with poor constructs and shallow horizons.
I don’t read tho haha. I try to, but I don’t do it as often as I like. Only on very sunny days when I go to the beach or park.
But yeah, I’ve been a bit busy and I had a terrible week that should’ve been encouraging one so the stress kept me from being creative.
Too bad I can’t use the trauma as inspiration
Only writers can be like…
This was traumatizing and has scared me…can I use that somehow in my story
Why not? Using real life experiences and feelings to write a story makes it all the more realistic and relatable.
Isn’t that the whole point of “Read what you know?” becuase what you know is usually best.
That’s why I don’t usually like fantasy books, movies or stories. There is a lack of relatability and experience and realism. I preffer something that when you read you can imagine that the writer has gone through something like this and just put it into words so us folk who haven’t gone through it could know how it feels.
Because the fear I felt and how I shut down to just no longer register every detail of the situation, I already use and I don’t think I will ever have a character being tortured by a dentist
