The best netflix movie

I think there are some really good Netflix original movies, there is one called “In the tall grass” which is pretty spooky and based off a book! So what netflix movies do you guys enjoy?

Honestly, I’ve struggled finding any good movies on Netflix, I mainly watch series so I’m definitely gonna put this on watching :eyes:

I tried watching that movie but I got bored and never finished it… :woman_shrugging:t3: It was nice but I don’t know, I expected more!
Bird box was actually interesting to me!

I watched ‘In The Tall Grass’… it had a good start and it seemed to have a lot of potential but it seemed to get worse as it went on and it seemed never-ending.

I’ve mentioned ‘The Fundamentals of Caring’ a few times before, but that is my favourite Netflix movie. I agree with Bird Box, a lot of popular Netflix films (e.g. The Kissing Booth, Sierra Burgess) are really bad and overrated, but I think Bird Box was really good!!

Netflix Movie Recommendations

copied and pasted from another post I made

  • The Fundamentals of Caring (one of my favourite movies ever with Paul Rudd and Selena Gomez!)
  • Paper Towns (with Cara Delevigne and Nat Wolff … it’s pretty good)
  • The Breakfast Club & Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (the amazing classics!)
  • Now You See Me (Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco, I prefer the sequel but this is on Netflix)
  • A Simple Favour (Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick OMG it’s so good!!!)
  • The Impossible (one of the saddest films ever, I cried)
  • Adrift (with Shailene Woodley from Divergent, another really sad film, and there’s a plot twist ending!)
  • Jurassic World (Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Robinson… I love this!)
  • Edge of Seventeen (Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson, it’s amazing)
  • Status Update (Olivia Holt and Ross Lynch, it’s not great but I think it’s underrated and worth a watch!)
  • The Half of It (I haven’t watched it yet, I’m just about to and am very excited so thought I would mention)

Wow personally I found in the tall grass very enjoyable. I loved the use of a time loop and the amount of unanswered questions like what is that weird rock thing it was a good movie in my opinion. I’ll admit it could be a bit slow but it was still good.

I can see why people could like it, I just don’t think it was my thing (and I definitely couldn’t keep up with what was going on haha).

Sooo… I don’t have Netflix, am I going to start a riot?! (rubs hands together and licks lips eagerly)

tbh I was trying to think, but I mostly only like a few of their shows

I can’t recall seeing many good netflix original movies, but some of the movies that they have on them were pretty good.

^ It’s a pretty fun movie, although ferris is kind of a terrible friend

^ It was sweet, although it didn’t really have the happy ending I was hoping for.

They’ve also got Into the Spider-verse, Back to the Future, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail (highly recommend) available for streaming, which I all enjoyed seeing.

What ending were you hoping for?

Some kind of long-lasting relationship between the two girls

Well, at least they didn’t completely rule it out. It is very much suggested there is a long-lasting relationship after.

I saw this thread again and was just compelled to go and check for good movies on Netflix. It actually had several that I would recommend seeing.

  • Into the Spider-verse
  • The Matrix
  • Back to the Future
  • The Princess and the Frog

They actually also had a whole bunch of movies that I’ve heard of, but haven’t seen so I wonder which other movies people think are good on Netflix.

To the bone
It’s sad but it’s a good film
