Lol, same.

But once we go back to school, teachers will demand work from us which I have loads of remaining so there is that too

NOOO NOT THE SUNDAY -

4280 new cases today. Interestingly, that’s the exact same number as yesterday. On Tuesday, it was 3000 cases. Schools? Open. Restrictions? Minimal. ‘Public meetings such as weddings may not exceed 100 people and everyone has to wear masks’, lmao. The government does everything it can to pretend there’s no problem, using ‘economy’ as an excuse.

I had to call my brother today and tell him to sit on his ass and not come to visit us from another town. Yes, we’re all well-adjusted adults here

OMG! May I ask what country this is in?

Poland

Mind, our government basically refused to close down churches, while some of our priests / bishops preached smart stuff like ‘it’s safe to use the holy water basins because blessed water kills coronavirus’. So, my expectations are not very high to begin with, lol.

Oh, it gets even better today  Basically, our government forbid all visits in the hospital. But the ministers are above the law, right? Of course they are (they’ve been breaking all the COVID restrictions they impose as a routine). So, our minister of education - the guy who refuses to close the schools - went to visit his grandmother. And, since he’s a minister, no one dared to say no.

Thing is, he was feeling kinda funny when he went. Then he got worse, so before the first meeting of the new government (they dissolve and reform our government all the time, too), he took a test. Turns out he’s positive, so they checked the hospital. Bullseye: 21 people in the personnel and unspecified number of patients got positive, too. The entire hospital went into lockdown, basically terminating regular healthcare in the district.

The public opinion got on the minister’s back, accusing him of spreading pandemics. He whined on twitter in response, saying that ‘there is no proof the people in the hospital got infected from me specifically’ and calling the accusations ‘barbaric and unfair’.

So yes, whenever you think about how awful Trump is about corona, take consolation in knowledge that you’re not alone

I was scared of corona until I got it. It’s just a fever, really.

Depends on your age and health how severe it hits you, though. Feline fine again? :smile_cat:
