The first rp I joined was DICE based on the webtoon DICE on the old episode forums. It was an Rp made by Mehek and it was really fun. I imagine I was pretty bad when I first started, but I only have memories of me being decent. I had stalked a roleplay beforehand so I knew what to expect lol—I can’t remember what roleplay it was, some romance—but I was still pretty nervous. The rp lasted for a while before it died and it was really fun. Lol, I ended up being part of a ship that a lot of the rpers actually liked so 
anyway that roleplay was just a rollercoaster of anxiety for me but I learned a lot from it! Lol, the tag didn’t work for me when DICE first started, so I was almost kicked out before it even began, but that was the delight of the glitchy old forums. Tips for people starting out: don’t be afraid to make mistakes, and ask questions when you’re confused! Spend a bit of time watching others roleplay because it’s a good way to learn how to do it yourself. Don’t be afraid to roleplay with people who you think are much more skilled than you are because most of them are really kind and everyone has to start somewhere!

I believe mine also was the Hunters, though at the beginning of the first thread about 2 years ago, back then we actually had a plot that involved everyone. 
I very well remember back then i didn’t know how to rp, to join a conversation, so i believe i threw my character into a forest as the cousin of another character. That relationship i threw in i believe made an interesting plot, again back for the first 1-4 threads we had plots, history dating back with characters, fight scenes, love triangles, teens who never went to school. I’m actually very greatful that was the first rp i joined, it was very easy to get a grip of, there were amazing people who some of i still rp with today. The hunters was so open it allowed for learning mistakes and to improve, it was/is a great roleplay and always has/will be, i believe

Actually, my start to roleplaying is… maybe a bit embarrassing? And weird. Definitely weird. I first started roleplaying on a website called Moviestarplanet. It was very basic roleplaying and it was done on the forums. I remember a thread would be made, sometimes just ‘High School RP’ and then about 5 users with a ‘sign up form’ like this:
Name: Ella
Personality: Shy
Looks: Brown hair, blue eyes
Or sometimes you made an ‘artbook’ with characters and said ‘see my artbook’ for character information. Here are a few of my ‘charecters’ from way back in the day haha: (faceclaims was not a word in my vocabulary at that time)
Then I found the Episode forums (around end of 2016) I was very excited to see they had roleplays. An embarrassing fact was that I saw the slides to all the faceclaims, and I thought I had to pick one of the characters I had to roleplay as. With the help of google slides that save every faceclaims slide I’ve ever opened, the first roleplay I ever joined on the Episode forums was ‘Beyond The Kingdom’ and I remember @TheBluGeek was in it too
That was a very unnecessarily long post. Remind me to learn how to get to the point.

The first roleplay I joined was a fan RP based on the anime Familiar of Zero back in like. What, 2013? 2014? Something like that
I absolutely cannot share the details of that roleplay outside of the restricted section but it was really fun!

Wait!! I actually started on those forums, too!! 
I never thought I’d see someone that use to roleplay on there again aside from the two people I’ve stayed in contact with on Instagram, haha. At the time, I didn’t know much about roleplaying and saw this supernatural one that had already started. Didn’t know that it was too late to join and when I asked, this one guy got angry at me for disrupting the flow of posts aha. Other then that, I mostly remember this casual high school one that me and my two friends kept going for ages, an academy themed, and some sort of spy one?? Annnd an apocalypse one that was short-lived!
I then roleplayed on Google+ (strange, I know) for at least a year and they were mostly 1x1 (which I’m not a huge fan of). At some point I heard that it was shutting down within that year I started so… I saved my favorite characters even though they gave you the option to save all your info for access later at any point and then found Episode. Only for basically the same thing to happen again before coming here (‘:
