The Joker: Discussion

Oh yeah, that soundtrack slapped.

The worst thing for me was how it romanticised the Joker’s abusive relationship with Harley. Like there were so many young girls dying to be in a relationship like theirs afterwards that it actually scared me

It was no Guardians of the Galaxy though, let’s be real. The music choices were baffling

Like a boyfriend who stalks you around the bloody world to pull you out of your job? A boyfriend who drives you literally insane and coxes you to throw yourself into cancerous toxic waste? Honey. You can do better

That’s true the songs didn’t seem to follow any particular pattern at least in guardians of the galaxy the songs kinda went together

Margot Robbie did a good job at playing as Harley Quinn.

“Harley Quinn…please to meet chu.”

But yeah, it’s definitely not Leto’s fault. Blame the makers for this.

I can’t let my hatred of him as a person mask the fact that it was poor directing and costume design mainly

This is true, everything came together in a cataclysmic explosion of bad jokerness

Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska were really good early versions of the Joker in Gotham, I agree Heath Ledger was great but I was terrified of those two.

I am just gonna talk about the joker on the suicide squad (the character)

I hate how he is a psycho in that movie because in suicide squad, there is a glorfication of psychosis, like the awful romance between harley quinn and him. He treats her like she is a f**king machine and makes her insane.

I hate when movies or books glorify those kinds of relationships. :pensive: Its like whatever he does to her, Harley keeps going back to him. Even when she is aware of what he is doing to her, she keeps going back to him. :frowning: He treats her so bad, but she ignores it and that’s exactly the kind of the thing that shouldn’t be shown in movies.
