The Last Episode RP/SG Awards... continued!

(Our fifth presenter walked out, her golden locks were styled in a sort of lengthy modern bob. It was @sunflower.flow, dressed in a simple white shirt and dark blue dress pants. She smiled, a radiant smile, as she embraced the mic with her palm.)

Heyyy! My name is Marta! So good to see you all here supporting this event and hope you’re having a great day! Also, congrats to all the winners and nominees so far, you all deserve it. (A small applause) Gasp. I glad to be here to announce the next nominees, the ones for the best horror RP/SG…

Yes, I remember this RP/SG… the winner for the best Horror RP/SG is…

The winner:

SAW, created by @CrazyCaliope

Nominations:

There aren’t many horror roleplays on the forums—because cough guidelines cough—but I always felt like this one did a really good job at being horror whilst also remaining within the guidelines. It was real fun while it lasted.

Also, congrats to…

The Runner-up:

LockDown RP/SG, created by @ScarletSwanHunter

Nominations:

This didn’t get really far, but it was a really cool idea, and I think if it got farther it would’ve made for a great horror roleplay.

OMGGGGGGGGGGG :sob: I really don’t think I deserve this since I’ve been procrastinating so much lately… To whoever nominated/voted for FTD, thank you so freaking muchhhh! It means so much to me to know that people enjoy FTD. I promise to work as hard as I can for the time skip so it can become an even better RP. Thank you so much again!

THANK YOUUUU :sob: :sob:

(The next presenter walked out, a shorter and older man who was dressed in all black. He went over and stood next to the podium that almost dwarfed him. It was Danny Devito, who was carrying him own mic.)

Hey, they gave me my own one of these. (he gestured to the mic in his hand) Apparently, I ain’t tall enough to use the adult microphone… nor important enough to get a box to stand on. (pause for laughter) Listen, it’s an honour to be here, and I’m so happy to here for you tonight. So honoured to present the nominees for best mystery RP/SG…

(Danny coughed as he manoeuvred the mic around in his hands to pull the paper out of the envelope and read it.)
Holy f*ck, why couldn’t they give me a bloody mic stand. (struggled a bit more) So honoured to present the winner for best mystery RP/SG to…

The winner:

Hotel Ducksworth (A Challenging Mystery) SG, created by @CrazyCaliope

Nominations:

I love a good mystery! And this one definitely seems interesting, I think that’s the only SG in which I just can’t wait for the next part… and besides… it’s amazingly written, obviously

If anyone knows Caliope, we all know how much planning and effort she put into RPs/SGs. She built this one from scratch, using our settings/preferences to create an amazing SG! Really like this one, I’m excited to see what happens next!

A huge congratulations to the other two nominees who I’m not going to say who is second, 'cause I don’t wanna single anyone out for not getting it.

(The next presenter strolled out to the centre of the stage like he owned, which he probably could, to be fair. It seemed as if he was wearing a smart black suit without a tie, except that the jacket was trenchcoat-like down to his ankle. It was Samual L Jackson.)

Most films work from a script where the action is meticulously plotted and everyone on set knows exactly what is supposed to happen. But there is another kind of story that finds out what happens as it goes along, counting heavily on a writers’ intuition and a characters’ feelings. It is called roleplaying and more specifically, the romance genre. Here are the nominees for best romance RP/SG…

And the award for the best Romance RP/SG goes to…

The winner:

Are You The One? S7 RP, created by @sofia

Nominations:

its always such a fun RP and lots of drama always involved!! Kitty has done a great job for the past 7 seasons

I choose to nominate it because it’s full of drama and surprises. You also have to come up with a strategy, so I think that is pretty cool.

Congratulations to…

The Runner-up:

Ex on The Beach RP, created by @Madilfill

Nominations:

Ex on the Beach is really exciting and new things are always around the corner to have twists and drama for all the RPers. The next season will also start soon!

Wow I feel so honored to even come in second against all you guys!!! I will be starting a new season soon I think too!!!

I just wanna say congrats to all those who were nominated for these awards for their RPs and SBs, it’s a great honour. So let’s see the reason you were nominated! (wink)

Action:

Infection RP, created by @jaytastic

It looked like it would be a really fun RP, and especially a really good fit for the action category. Would’ve been the best apocalyptic RP yet.

It ended too soon! She had a great concept, hands-down beautiful FCs, as well as a lot of planning. Pretty sad to see it go, but we’re all trying to keep the thread alive for Jay! She, and Riah, put a lot of work into this, I’d love to see it win.

Superheroes and Villains: Accidentally United! RP, created by @CrazyCaliope

I’m participating in this to and I’ve been reading the post. I believe it has potential and is a great story that is being told.

The Wish Of Amnesia RP, created by @Meekepeek

It was well mapped out and creative.

Adventure:

Questors RP, created by @LTea

I’ve only read a few posts of this RP, but judging by the first two opening posts, it is really well-planned out. It also looks like it is really suited for the Adventure category.

Stranded RP, created by @Littlefeets

It was so amazing that I wish it kept going.

Drama:

1838 Historical Fiction RP, created by @iconic_coolepisodes

It’s been around for a while. It consists of a fairly open world and a small community where all the RP characters can from interesting relationships.

Lime Grove RP, created by @astxrism

It was interesting and fun, the plot was good and so were the characters

Fantasy:

Realms of Westeria RP/SG, created by @BlueInferno

This was great fun. Anything Blue does is amazing.

Time Of The Rebellion RP, created by OrphanKaren (from Episode)

It was a fun RP. It had twists that she dared to kill off characters and I loved it. Too bad it died pretty soon, but I want to acknowledge the hard work that went into it.

The Hunters 14: Red Moon, created by @BrookieK

It is a series of roleplays with free moblility of the creative mind and over 15 threads over the span of a year, a start to many roleplayers on forums especially

So much RP happened which was both exciting, entertaining and a lot of fun to participate in. There was never a dull moment. There was a good mix of different types of characters, personalities. And overall some very good plot lines.

The Wish Of Amnesia RP, created by @Meekepeek

The Wish for Amnesia had an awesome Fantasy and Mysterious concept. We had to do the digging to find out the truth. So it was really entertaining and challenging. Plus, it had everything - drama, romance, hatred, break ups, love triangle and all. RP was really amazing. Besides the creator worked hard to keep up with the filling of informations in the Faceclaims. So she should be appreciated

Mystery:

Lime Grove RP, created by @astxrism

It was a really interesting RP and the concept was really cool

The Wish Of Amnesia RP, created by @Meekepeek

The creator did an amazing job setting up the mystery and creating events for the various characters to gain chances to figure out clues.

This RP was planned to perfection and if I may say so was one of the best RPs like it. I’ve never been in a RP that was this much fun that was fully planned and still had room for change if something doesn’t go alongside the plan. Overall nomination is fairly and justly deserved.

I’ve never seen a mystery RP that is so nicely planned and with such nice plot twists planned from the start and I have to say this is the only RP I’ve ever seen that gave all the characters amnesia where the amnesia plot works out well.

Romance:

Reverse Speed-Dating RP/SG, created by @CrazyCaliope

It seemed like it was going to be a good romance RP, and I am sure it’ll make a good romance SG now.

Running From Your Fate RP, created by @ScarletSwanHunter & Episode_fan1

These two writers have so much talent. It was so awesome to read along. Wish it had continued.

Honestly, I’m really happy people thought it was a good RP. it was my first RP hosting and I was happy how open people were about the fact that they didn’t know who their character really was. it was so much fun to see everyone slowly figuring it out and adapting the new information so well.

all the players should be just as proud because it’s not easy to play an RP where you have legit only your name, age and personality to begin with and just have to play to figure out who you are.

Those reactions are more than enough for me :two_hearts:

(After a short interval, the next presenter walked out on stage. He looked like a life-size lego figure mixed with a ventriloquist dummy in a navy blue suit without a tie. Freshly dyed-black hair and pearly white teeth, it was Jimmy Carr.)

Hello and welcome to the user portion on the RP and SG award for last bloody year, but if I’m honest, it’s more for the RPs, isn’t it? The SGs kind of suck don’t they? They’re like the nerdy kid in the corner of the schoolyard that you kick occasionally just to hear them scream. (His unique laugh - “Ha. Ha. Haaaa”) It has taken nearly six months to complete these awards, but then again, I am a busy man, I can’t be expected to present something at the drop of a hat. (His unique laugh again - “Ha. Ha. Haaaa”) Time for the nominees of the user who has no life. No, these are actually the nominees for the most active user, which is the same thing in my opinion. They are…

And the award for the user who is too active and has no life goes to…

The winner:

@CrazyCaliope

Nominations:

She’s always so active and helpful around the forums. Always willing to lend a helping hand to other RPs too

Congratulations to…

The Runner-up:

@katabasis

Nominations:

It feels like any time I post something in a roleplay that she’s involved in somehow or any time I message her, she’s always responding or, at the very least, liking the post/message. Perhaps it is just impeccable timing, but either way, she seems to be the most active to me!

(The next present to walk out was short-haired ginger with a rugged goatee. He dark jeans and a classic AC/DC T-shirt. Walking out, Simon Pegg gave a wave to the audience before bellowing into the microphone.)

Hellooo! (The audience cheers) Hello everybody! I hope you’re having a wonderful time here among all the amazing RPers. But let’s not forget that we’re here for a serious reason… You’re here to be appreciated and I’m here to introduce the nominees for the user with the Best Grammar/Spelling. They are…
