Beautiful song.
Disappointing. Doja didn’t switch it up and Nicki’s verse did not fit. At all. I didn’t like the beat change it took away from the vibe of the original song.

I find that this is specifically tied to gender also.
Lightskin girl= cute
Lightskin boy = white (although generallly still accepted)
Darkskin girl = loud, ghetto, angry, ratchet, masculine

I’m from London but when I hear other people with the accent… it’s almost jarring and I cannot help but cringe
