Unpopular Opinions

Apparently a woman was drugged and got date r-ped (the actual event wasn’t fully recorded), and there was another incident a few weeks back where a woman got hounded by a bunch of guys, and one of them sexually assaulted her. In both of those events, he blamed the women… like it’s not funny or cool. At all

If people think that they can tell “poor” people that they should save their money, it should also be okay to tell “rich” people what to do with their money. :eyes::sparkles:
But tbh I still think that money is a made up concept and that it shouldn’t be as important as it is now and that we should just focus on making the world a better place :eyes::sparkles:

Oh no yeah that’s definitely true, but it seems to be the only way to fix anything in the world. I think the world would be better if money wasn’t as big as it is too, but humans are soo greedy that I don’t know if we could give something without getting anything in return.

If they would spend their money on good things, they’d get praise and appreciation and all that stuff, but they don’t care about that because most of them only want more money… But I guess it’s also their choice if they earned their money themselves, since you can’t expect people to give away what they worked for :eyes::sparkles:

That’s fair… but I’m just saying that people who have a ridiculous amount of money—money to spare—should at least give back in some sort of way.

Skinny shaming is not taken as seriously as fat shaming. Being skinny, while accepted, is no longer the standard anymore. It’s a slim waist and big hips.

Ah, to add on to that:

In the era of trying to be politically correct (although I do think that term is a cop-out to dismiss actual problems) people are now stuck in a sturdy bubble of fake wokeism.
When people criticised Lizzo for her basketball game fiasco, others were immediately accused of fat-shaming, as if her weight has anything to do with her jiggling her ass for all the kids to see. It’s even worse because these are the same type of people to talk over you while you talk about the prejudices you’ve faced in your life.

It reminds me of the parents from the movie Get Out. The father says he would’ve “voted for Obama a third time if he could”. He’s not even the first black president but that’s a different topic.

“nOoNe wOUld hAvE coMPlaINeD iF iT waS rIHannA/bEYOnce!!!” Seriously, why was that taken as a real arguement? :joy: It’s so annoying. If someone does one thing, it doesn’t make it justified if someone else does it. You’ll be just as bad.

True.

It needs to be taken more seriously on either end.

I’ve seen cases of people being shamed for being average so…

Just don’t body shame people. At all.

Trigger Warning

There was an incident where a woman was r*ped and she had HIV and the guy who did that to her then got HIV and people were just saying how she should have warned him that she was HIV positive and stuff and I’m just like, yeah someone is just gonna go "oh so before you r*pe me just gonna let you know I have HIV " like come on. The guy just like did that stuff to her, like seriously.

Unbelievable!

She didn’t have sex with him on her own will! She was raped! How are you going to warn someone?

I seriously can’t stand people who make ignorant comments like this.

Some more unpopular opinions of mine:

  • Alcohol can be a pretty hard drug and regular toxicity is way too socially acceptable nowadays.
  • I think wanna-be parents should take a ttest or course before they have a child. In order to see if they are actually financially and mentally ready for parenthood. Just because you can biologically make a child doesn’t mean you should have one.
  • I don’t like Cardi B

Here are some of my opinions (not all of them are unpopular)

• I don’t see all the hype with Billie Eilish. She seems mediocre to me.
• I can’t stand the taste of popcorn (except for caramel popcorn)
• Noah Centineo isn’t that hot nor handsome for me
• I hate it when people assume that terrible drivers are automatically women
• Just because a man is neat with his appearance doesn’t automatically mean he’s gay (It’s called hygiene, for goodness sake)
• Ear piercings on men and multiple ear piercings on women are attractive
• You don’t have to share every single thing about your life on social media
• Not being active on social media doesn’t make your life any less interesting (some of the best things in life are best kept private )
• I don’t have problems with people who smoke in general (my mom used to smoke), but I can’t date someone who smokes. It’s a huge dealbreaker for me.
• Alcohol isn’t everything, even though I like drinking alcohol sometimes.
• People should normalize having a platonic relationship with the opposite sex. Being friends with the opposite sex does not always have to end up in romance. Just because you’re with someone from the opposite sex in public doesn’t mean you’re dating them. I actually have more male friends that female ones.
It’s normal for women to masturbate

All eye colours are beautiful!! I’m sick of this “blue eyes are better than brown eyes” rubbish!! We can’t choose our eye colour.
