Can I ask a dumb question? How would her name be pronounced

One problem here…

She couldn’t have become a maid if she’s a caste 3. It wouldn’t make a difference whether her family thought she was right for the job or not. She wouldn’t be able to get a job as a maid if she’s not a caste 6.

I’m so sorry I guess I didn’t pay attention and read it when I put her original bio into the slides, but if I had I would have realized it was a problem in her original bio too…

Maddy’s comment reminded me I think there should be an extra e in her last name Bouwmeester. It’s Dutch (but you probably knew that already) :eyes:

Yeah I thought so too, I forgot to add that she pretends she’s a different caste, and probably saying she’s a caste 3 pretending to be a lower caste so she could be a maid would ruin her father’s name, or at least he would sink a bit, so he made sure everybody believed it wasn’t his daughter but some cousin or something who needs a job and that she is that caste. Her being caste 3 is a secret

Right, I thought I put 2 es there, but I guess I didn’t, I’ve already closed it damn …

Yeah that’s because of her dad, cuz he’s an architect

Yeah, literally it translates to build master. So that last name makes sense!

I know, I chose an occupational name for anybody I could think off … Amalia’s last name is Baker because her family is full of workers and some of her ancestor were surely bakers and Amalia might be a baker at some point
Hannah is Taylor because her mother is a dressmaker, aka a taylor
Bouwmeester you just realized
Acker as a last name means field and Andrea is a fieldworker, or a farm owner, who works on her land or her field
and Verona I don’t remeber

The thing is I’ll keep using this until I find a better idea for a nameplate for her

Pretty!

Acker is German right? I believe. But yeah, that’s rad. Most of my last names are also inspired on their castes.

Fair enough though
