Maid of Rosemary Edith Dolloway Daisy sighed, pouting. “I honestly don’t get why you’re so caught up in defending those people!” she stated, dropping the paper towel. She didn’t feel like cleaning anymore, now that she was sure nobody was watching her.
“Blah blah! I’m done with you acting so mighty! As if I’d ever want to share lunch with you again.” Daisy took a deep breath, trying not to let the past repeat itself. She stood at the table, watching as Amalia left.
It seemed they were both pretty angry at each other, yet Daisy wasn’t going to just leave it be and cool off. She was planning on ranting about everything that happened to her, as soon as she got back to Edith’s room. Maybe her lady and the rest of the maids would be interested in getting back at Amalia. But how foolish was she to believe that anyone really cared about some petty drama, when this was a competition for the prince’s hand in marriage.
