It had been almost a week since her last concert. Since the day she found out Albert was Al… That her long time pen pal from Germany was here in the US. She couldn’t get the short but passionate kiss they shared out of her head. This was going to be their first time seeing each other since the kiss. They hadn’t talked too much either.
Piper was a little nervous about seeing Albert, but excited at the same time. They finally got to be just Albert and Piper. Not famous, not anything but regular kids. It was Friday after classes, and Ian had to do some fight stuff. So, Piper was alone and bored. Koda was busy with Lexi as per usual. Roux had left the school.
So, Piper only has Albert and Ian really. Which she was fine with, she did miss Koda from time to time, but she didn’t want to take up all his time. She went back to her dorm after the last class. She was so excited about hanging with Albert today and this weekend in general. She decided to text Ian and Albert.

She sent the messages then decided to get dressed. It took her a while to figure out what to wear. She wanted it to be perfect. She went through all her clothes in her closet three times before finally deciding on what to wear. She doubled checked her outfit, hair and makeup. Then decided she was ready to go. Only after changing her outfit three times.
She left St Andrews campus and went to where she was suppose to be meeting Albert. They were meeting in the town of Elkton, Maryland since that was halfway between the two schools. She got to the Starbucks. She figured they would start off with some coffee, then maybe go to one of the parks nearby. Who knows maybe Albert had made some plans for them already. She walked in and didn’t see him. So, she sat at a table and waited for him.

It had been a week since he had discovered the his best friend, and his long distant crush had been within reach the entire time at concerts. He still couldn’t believe it. And not only that but the day finally came for them to hang out. The morning he just through on his sweat pants and a hoody for his morning jog. When he had returned his took a shower. After fretting himself up, he went over and just through on whatever really stood out to him. Afterwards he left and go on a bus to the town. He was excited about finally hanging out with the girl of his dreams from afar.
Since he had been in the States, he had been meeting interesting people left and right, and a few seemed to have caught his attention. But at the end of the day, he was just a typical guy just trying to find what felt right.
While he was on the bus to the location of the town, he put on his earphones and started playing his music. Time seemed to have slowed down but he didn’t mind it. It gave him time to think about everything. Buzt Buzt His phone went off in his hand. He looked at the screen and noticed it was a message from his cousin and from Piper. He couldn’t help but chuckle a bit when he saw his cousins nam. Ignoring her message, he went over to read Pipers.
Hey Albert, I’m getting ready now. Then I’ll head that way. See you soon!

He smiled as he placed his phone back in his pocket. Leaning against the window as he watched the outside world whip by.
He got off the bus and had been roaming around the town for a little over an hour. The town was fairly active for a weekend. He hadn’t even noticed that he was starting to run late to his own meet up. Pulling out his phone, he realized the time. “Sh-t.” He had recalled the location of the coffee shop while he was exploring. Turning around he took off jogging to the location.

He slowed down when he was on the corner of the street of the building. He straighten himself out, making sure he wasn’t sweating, smelly, and still looked good. When it all checked out good, did he walk towards the door. Walking in confidently, he looked around until he saw her. Sitting there waiting for him. His smile brighten as he walked over to her. “Hey, sorry I’m late. I lost track of the time while I was exploring the town.” He had figured it was best to be honest than to come up with some lame excuses.

As Piper sat there waiting her phone buzzed. She looked down and smiled as she saw it was Albert. Piper had been sitting there waiting, she was sure these people thought she got stood up, since she didn’t get anything yet. She had been waiting for over an hour. She started to think that maybe he wasn’t coming.
She looked down at her phone. She noticed how long it had been. Her mind was racing with thoughts. Does he not like me? Did I do something wrong? Is he not coming? as her mind was racing she heard a voice “Hey, sorry I’m late. I lost track of the time while I was exploring the town.”
Luckily it was Albert. He words pulling her out of her thoughts. She looked up at him “That’s okay. No worries. Glad you’re here now.” She said as she stood up and pulled him into an embrace.
“Should we get some coffee?” She asked as she pulled away from the hug. She felt the butterflies as soon as she heard his voice. Then seeing him they intensified but the touching made them worse. She felt butterflies in her stomach and shivers down her spine.
It was the most beautiful thing she has ever felt. It was a yearning in her body that she felt for him. She not only wanted, but needed his touch, his kiss, his love. The way Albert made her feel and brought her sense to live, it was different, and new but she loved it.
She absolutely loved the way she felt when talking with Albert. Even more so when they were together. Something she thought would never happen. Still this didn’t feel real. It all felt like some cruel game, or dream. However, this dream was so amazing…
If it really was a dream she never wanted to wake up. When Albert’s arms were around her she felt safe in a different way than when in Ian’s arms. She felt safe with the both of them. Just a different kind of safe. Was it just because it was new that she liked this?
Sure she knew Albert longer than Ian. However, Ian was her boyfriend officially now. Piper was wondering if she f^cked up by wanting Ian to make it official because the day after they became official she finally meant her crush of years.
She hadn’t forgotten about Albert when she met Ian. She was just so busy being with Ian and trying to make him hers that they didn’t talk. However, truth be told they hadn’t talked in four month prior to her meeting Ian.
She wasn’t sure why this was, since they had talked every day before that. She did start to wonder why he hadn’t hardly talked to her. Guess it was partially her fault as well. She just hated messaging people first. So it was partially her fault as well as his. However, he never missed a good morning beautiful text.
Which always put a smile on her face. Well that was until three weeks before she met Ian. She just assumed when he stopped that he had gotten himself a girlfriend. However, it did make it a little easier to meet Ian. If she would have known that she would meet him… She wouldn’t have tried so hard to be with Ian.
She had to get Ian out of her mind for the moment. She needed to be here in this moment with Albert. However, she wasn’t sure that was possible. She smiled up at him as she looked deep in his eyes. She could easily get lost in them.
She wanted to explore their connection more, but she didn’t want to cheat on Ian at the same time. She couldn’t be with both of them could she? She stared into his eyes as they stood there inches apart. She was waiting on his move. Would they go straight to get the coffee or would he kiss her first.

“That’s okay. No worries. Glad you’re here now.” She got out of her chair and walked over to him, wapping her arms around him as she hugged him. He was happy to be in her embrace. He wrapped his arms around her. She felt so small in his embrace, almost one wrong move and she’d snap. He felt like he needed to be gentle with her.
“Should we get some coffee?” He was sad that she had pulled away but he understood that there was other people here and she was probably just being considerate of them. “Yeah… Let’s.” He took her hand in his as he lead her over to the line. They waited as he scanned the menu. Not really knowing what looked good. “Any idea on what you are wanting?”
He turned to look at her, scanning for any discomfort or any signs that she did not like anything here. He was scared that she didn’t really want to be here. But he wouldn’t admit his fear… After all at the concert they had shared a kiss, so there was just no way she was not interested in him.
His eyes lingered to her lips as he faintly recalled the taste of her lips. He wanted her lips again, but he wasn’t sure if she’d be alright with it… He hesitated while he slowly and gently placed his hand on her jawline and leaned in to kiss her lips. He couldn’t help but to gently nibble her lower lip.

Once she pulled away from the hug.. He said “Yeah… Let’s.” Then he took her hand in his as he led her to the counter. They waited in the line and he asked “Any idea on what you are wanting?” She wasn’t sure what she wanted. So she was looking at the menu.
Then she had glanced to him so she could answer his question. He gently placed his free hand on her jawline and then he leaned in for a kiss. Their lips met and it was as if fireworks went off. He was giving her all the good feels. He gently nibbled her bottom lip and she had to fight back a moan. Truth was that she loved when people nibbled her lip. It was quite the turn on for her.
She slowly wrapped her arms around his neck as she deepened the kiss. It was as if the moment their lips met the rest of the world disappeared. Nothing else, or nobody else mattered in this moment. All that mattered was Albert, her and this kiss. She didn’t want this slow, steady kiss to end. She was enjoying it so much, but at the same time she knew they were in line. She was lost in the moment. She wondered if he was too.
It wasn’t until the person behind them tapped her on the shoulder that she pulled away. She looked at them blushing. “sorry.” She giggled as they came back with “To be young and in love” Someone behind them said, it sounded like an old lady. “Being in love or not… Dude the line is moving.” Another voice said, younger and rude. The person right behind them that tapped Piper on the shoulder “No worries. It’s you guys turn to order though.”
They stepped up to the counter “I’ll have a Mocha Frapee please.” She said as she smiled at Albert. She was so happy the moment his lips had met her in that fiery yet sweet kiss. She was ready to pay if she needed to. She started to pull out her wallet.

He was so into the kiss he hadn’t realized the line was being held up by them until Piper had pulled away when someone tapped her shoulder. He looked around and noticed it was their turn, so he walked over and ordered a black coffee as Piper was listening to the people behind them. She realized it was their turn and she walked up to the counter. “I’ll have a Mocha Frappe Please.” He saw she was pulling out her wallet and he gently placed his hand on hers to stop her. “Hey… I was the one who invited you out, and then showed up late. I got this.” He smiled gently at her before he reached in his pocket and pulled out a card to pay.
Once he had paid, he slipped the card back into his pocket without a care in the world. He then lead them over to the other side where they would wait to be called on for their drinks. He got behind her and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into him.

Then Albert led them to the other side where they wait on their drink. He stood there behind her as he wrapped his arms around her. He gently pulled her into him. It felt good. Way different than when Ian did it. Every time Ian pulled her in it was usually because he wanted $3x. She knew with Ian it was more physical, but with Albert it was all the emotions that’s made it amazing.

Piper had a huge smile on her face as they waited for their coffees. She felt so at ease with him. She didn’t feel she had to keep looking over her shoulder every few minutes. The dynamic between them now as Piper and Albert was so different than the dynamic between Sasha and Al.
She didn’t really know what this kind of love felt like. All she has ever known is the love she has for Ian. It wasn’t till now with Albert standing here holding her, like they are a cute couple, that she realized there was a big difference between them.
Ian was complicated, fast paced, physical attraction. While Albert on the other hand was sweet, always caring, and it was all about the emotional attraction and hai personality is what she really found hot. Of course his German accent only helped.
She thought it was one of the coolest she had ever seen. She couldn’t believe how different it felt. She was so happy right here in that moment. They said their names as the barista handed them their coffees. Piper smiled and said thank you to them.
She didn’t want to move but she knew they needed to get out the way. She feared if they didn’t…things might get worse. People might get rude or they would possibly get kicked out of here.
“So, where should we go next handsome? Did you book a hotel room? I’m yours for the weekend Albert She said with a smirk. She wasn’t sure if Albert could feel the thickness in the air between them.

I’m yours for the weekend Albert” He felt a little confused. “A hotel room?” He looked at her curiously as he realized her meaning. He chuckled a little. “I was thinking we could go see a movie. Maybe do a bit of sight seeing, do whatever really catches our attention.” He took a sip of his coffee.
He couldn’t help but wonder if she was in a rush to have her way with him or if there was possibly another reason for suggesting a hotel room. He hadn’t really thought about it, he just wanted to spend the day with someone he thought was so out of reach for a long time. Not even considering that as a possibility. “We could also sit down and enjoy our coffee before we go do anything.”

Piper saw the confusion on his face. As he said “A hotel room?” She thought it was suppose to be the whole weekend they hung out. Maybe she was wrong and it was just for this evening. However, she wanted more time with him. She didn’t want to go back to St. Andrew’s to turn around and come back here tomorrow, and possibly Sunday.
She heard him chuckle a little as he said “I was thinking we could go see a movie. Maybe do a bit of sight seeing, do whatever really catches our attention.” She smiled a movie sounded nice. “A movie does sound wonderful. I love the idea of doing whatever catches our attention.”
She said as she looked up and her eyes lingered on his lips. She then took a sip of her coffee to distract herself. His lips tasted so good. So different than that of Ian. Ian usually tasted like cigarettes, but Albert, well there was a hint of a sweetness to his lips. She loved it.
She couldn’t believe how much she enjoyed kissing Albert. She hadn’t really thought about anything more than kissing with him. She was almost fully lost in her thoughts. She took a deep breath and drank another sip of her coffee. Almost as if to wash away the thoughts.
She wondered if he would pick up on any cues. He should know her pretty well by now. He might not pickup on her physical cues, but he most definitely would pickup on any cue in her voice. She was pulled out of her thoughts when Albert said “We could also sit down and enjoy our coffee before we go do anything.”
Piper smiled “Yes, let’s sit and enjoy our coffee first. Aren’t we hanging out here all weekend? Or do you have something else to do?” She asked as she recalled his confused look when she mentioned a hotel. She asked as they approached an empty table. Her mind raced about if they would sit next to each other or across from each other.
She sat down and waited for him to sit too. Once they were both comfortable she continued “I mean, if it is the full weekend we are gonna hangout then it’s easier to get a hotel room and stay here then go back and forth.” She said matter factly. She was deep in thought about this as she naturally took another sip of her coffee.
“I’m not sure about you but my coffee is amazing.” She smiled at him with a look of admiration. She was so fond of him before meeting him in person. She was a little worried though. What if they ended up not really getting a long in person.
What if they liked different things now then they did back then? What if they weren’t made for each other? What if he thought she was good enough? Her mind started racing. Like always when this happened she just reached for the hand she knew was close by.
She slipped her hand in his and interlocked their fingers. It felt so natural, so right. It was as if her hand fit perfectly in his. It made her think of a song. She had quietly started to hum the song to ease her mind. After a while she quietly began to sing.

“A movie does sound wonderful. I love the idea of doing whatever catches our attention. Yes, let’s sit and enjoy our coffee first. Aren’t we hanging out here all weekend? Or do you have something else to do?” He listened to her as he sipped his coffee. “What kind of movie are you in the mood to watch?”
They walked over to a empty table and sat down. Piper sat on one side, as he sat across from her. It was easier to watch her every movement and get lost in her eyes. He took a sip of his coffee when he recalled he had received a text from his cousin. Pulling out his phone to look at the message his cousin had sent. It wasn’t anything serious, just her asking what he was up to. After hitting send, he turned his phone off and set it on the table, face down.
“I mean, if it is the full weekend we are gonna hangout then it’s easier to get a hotel room and stay here then go back and forth.” He smiled faintly as he watched her. “I don’t really have any plans for tomorrow so I mean we can stay here for the weekend… I just worry that Freya will try to join us out here when she realizes I’m not on the school grounds.” He chuckled as he imagined his cousin trying to find where he was at.
“I’m not sure about you but my coffee is amazing.” He nodded in agreement. “I am enjoying my coffee as well.” He smiled as they drank a little in silence. He was enjoying her company even if words weren’t spoken.
Piper reached her arm across the table and laced her hand with his. He raised an eyebrow slightly as he locked their fingers together in place. He wasn’t going to let her go. Her hand felt soft and smooth, almost like she had never had a hard day in her life. A smile spread across his face as he looked out the window. He wondered if people walking by thought they were a cute couple together.
“I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand. If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am? Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?” Piper was singing softly as he just listened with his eyes closed. He did find her singing voice soft and relaxing. Squeezing her hand gently.

Piper smiled as they sat there drinking their coffees. Albert said “What kind of movie are you in the mood to watch?” Piper sat there thinking for a moment. She didn’t even know what was in theaters. “I don’t even know what is in theater right now.” She giggled a little embarrassed.
Then they got to the table and sat down. She shared stares and smiles at each other as they sat there. They also drank their coffee. Piper was having fun. She was just glad that the silence wasn’t awkward. She had noticed he looked at his phone. Then he seemed to have turned it off and placed it down on the table. Piper smiled at him.
She was worried, about what he thought, when she asked about the hotel. She hoped he didn’t think that it meant she wanted to have $3x with him… While she might want that… She also didn’t think she could. She sat there wondering what he thought about it.
Then he finally said “I don’t really have any plans for tomorrow so I mean we can stay here for the weekend… I just worry that Freya will try to join us out here when she realizes I’m not on the school grounds.” She smiled at this, until he mentioned his cousin Freya. Piper felt Freya would somehow ruin this.
However, she just smiled sweetly at Albert. “Well, if we both turn our phones off. Then nobody can find us.” She suggested. A weekend away from everyone and everything… to really be just them. Just simple Albert and Piper, nothing more, nothing less.
She wasn’t suggesting they have $3x. At least that wasn’t the plan. She was just suggesting spending the time with just each other and no distractions. She felt they owed that to each other. Especially with meeting after all these years. She wondered if he crushed on her the way she crushed on him. It was like neither of them wanted to admit it.
She watched him nod his head as he said “I am enjoying my coffee as well.” She smiled at him. She was so excited about spending time with him. Even if it ended up being on today. She felt all weekend would be better of course.

He found himself recalling the guy that Piper had brought to the concert. He was curious who he was to her, and who he himself was to her. He couldn’t deny that there was something between the two of them but the other guy also seemed like he meant something to her as well… He took a sip of his coffee as he looked towards the window. “. . .” He wasn’t sure what to even say or how to bring it up to her.

She looked at him curiously “What’s on your mind Albert?” She asked as she could see there was something clearly on his mind. Then she finished her coffee. “I’m done with my coffee… so whenever you are ready to go let me know.” She smiled at him.

Why should that stop now?” She asked him not sure if she really wanted to know this or not.

She smiled as he chuckled lightly. She had never been nervous before to hear what was on his mind. She wasn’t sure why it was different now. She wasn’t sure why she was nervous. He turned to face her, her cheeks reddened, while chuckling as he said “I was curious what happened to your body guard. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you without him at the concerts.” She looked at him knowing he met Koda. He should have known his name by now. Then he continued “Also who was that guy you hugged after the show?”
She wasn’t expecting this question. She wasn’t sure how to answer it either. She brushed her thoughts to the back of her mind. She looked at him “Koda… he has been busy. I think he is kind of seeing this girl at school. However, I’m not sure. Roux is gone as well…” She sighed thinking about how her best friend left her as well. She still couldn’t believe it.
“Plus… Koda and I kinda had a falling out. He accidentally punched me. We just talked for the first time last Friday night…” Piper wasn’t sure if she should tell him about getting kidnapped or not. She wasn’t sure how he would react to that. She took a deep breath as she thought about how to answer the last question.
“The other guy is a friend of mine, Ian. Over the last two months we have become really good friends, and he might be working for me. So, I brought him to a concert so he could see what it was all about. Since Koda is so busy nowadays. I figured I might need to hire some more bodyguards.” She smiled at him. She just left out a little part. She left out the fact that a week ago today Ian asked her to be his and she said yes.
She wasn’t ready to have Albert run away. Which is what she felt he would do if he had known Ian was in fact her boyfriend. However, on the same hand she has never lied to Albert before now. She wasn’t even sure if she had a good poker face or not. If he asked anything else… Then she would have to tell him for sure.
What would he think? Would he runaway from her? Would he still like her? Would he tell her they could only be friends and nothing more? She was in the biggest dilemma of her life. It instantly made her think of the song. “I never been the type to break up a happy home, but uh. There’s something 'bout baby girl I just can’t leave alone. So tell me, ma, what’s it gonna be?. She said. (You don’t know what you mean to me). No matter what I do. All I think about is you. Even when I’m with my boo. Boy, you know I’m crazy over you. No matter what I do. She hummed lightly and sang in her head, or so she thought it was in her head. She seemed to do this a lot when nervous, She wasn’t sure why. She wondered if he knew the song. She thought it would be so cute if he ever joined in on singing with her. She had heard him singing sometimes over the video calls, his voice wasn’t bad… However, he played the guitar amazingly.
