We’ve put our Vampire Diaries watchthrough on pause lately so we could finish off Buffy >.<

I was enjoying it though! Season 3 has been the only one so far that I’ve been like ‘eeehhhhh’

She is strong and independent. She was much better after she became a vampire. Before that, I honestly hated her though. She was meant to be a vampire.

I have seen and heard and read quite a lot about that and I actually believe it is right to some extent.

But, hear me out.

The show is about vampires. Vampires are violent by nature. They need to kill in order to survive. That’s the only way they have to remain alive.

So of course if they get into relationships, some of that violence is going to be there too, no? Did you expect flowers to rain down or something when you started watching a show that had vampire in it’s title? (Not directed towards you but the ‘you’ js directed towards like, everyone in general)

That’s what made it real, what reminded us that it wasn’t a normal thing but vampires. It depends on the way you see it, I guess.

But without all that stuff, the show won’t be able to give us that thrill it does and we won’t obsess over it as we do. It’s part of their nature and it would just seem unrealistic if that dark stuff wasn’t there as a part of the story like they did it in Twilight. (Don’t even get me started on that one!)

This is all just my opinion, lol.
