Thoughts on childrens literature

I think it’s a good thing because it encourages children to read and can also teach them stuff (not talking specifically about life lessons but things like spelling and grammar can be learned through reading).

What do you guys think?

I mean, it’s good that there is more than “adult” literature. Both because our reading abilities are on different levels and our interests

I mean there are different genres within adult literature and I see this as another genre. I guess it’s education and good for development stuff, buuut it’s mostly just fun when you get into reading as a child and start imagining stuff!

Okay. Cool. Well, I used to love a tween magazine when I was a kid. It was called Total Girl, think it’s an Aussie one.

When I was young I absolutely loved reading still do but as kid you would find me reading full days. I think it’s a good thing there is children’s literature. It helps children’s imagination and creativity, also empathy cause reading helps to understand people who are different than you are. In general reading is good for people, and it’s definitely a good thing there is a huge variety of books made for kids to get them excited about reading.
