Let’s do a series of gaming Tournaments!

I’ve come up with a number of games that we can do as a tournament, and possibly, if people wish it, then we have even repeat games and set up another tournament. At the end of each tournament, the winner will also receive a personalised award/acknowledgement for winning, posted and tagged in this post.

How to participate:

Read all of this post.
Don’t reply on this thread unless in a game and it is your turn.
Like the post about the most recent game and I’ll tag you and your opponent, and who is starting.
If your opponent has to wait more than 2 days for you to make a move, then they will automatically win.
Again, please only post on this thread if you’re in a game and it’s your turn, no other chat please!

The First Tournament: Decisions!

Alright, the first tournament is about to commence but which game shall we play. The decision is yours. I have many to choose from and have been set up with the emojis, but which do you choose. The rules will be explained properly once one has been chosen. I will give you a day or maybe two before the poll is closed.

The games:

Connect Four

Trying to make a row of four emojis before your opponent does. Starting from the bottom and building up or out.

This will follow the standard rules of the game, and probably be best out of three.

Following the rules of guessing the opponents emoji first. Each player will message me an emoji first, then ask each other yes or no questions.

Following the standard rules. Each user in the pair will have a turn at guessing the colours, and the winner is who guesses it fastest.

The First Tournament

Based on the poll above, the first tournament will be to find out who is the Connect Four Champion!
Connect Four is explained here, but in simple terms, all you have to do is to have four of your coloured pieces in a row, much the same as Noughts and Crosses. This can be done horizontally, vertically or diagonally. You play one turn at a time, and must start from the bottom.

So, if you want to participate, just like this post (please don’t reply) and I’ll tag you and your opponent, as well as who is starting. Then that person can post. Each participant can choose whichever pieces/tokens they would like to play with (circles, hearts, cats, superheroes, etc) using the emojis.

How your posts should look:

Blur any chat you have with them. (wink)

So, depending on your move, replace the “” with the emoji of your choosing. Then with each reply, copy the new board your opponent made, so you know the way your board looks.
I will be watching, so when a winner is found, they will process to the next round. They will then be tagged when that round starts.
