It’s hard to think of what tricks I actually use in video games. A lot of it is just playing a game and figuring out how to make things work best for me. In MarioKart I do use shortcuts sometimes though.

For Star Wars: The Old Republic, you can escape the cutscene by using the escape button. I would use it to see what all of the choice options were like. I still use the trick even now. I’ve noticed that playing with the extended side bar is much more helpful then using the standard tool bar. Also, put all of your main attacks that line up the number tabs on the tool bar. It makes fighting so much easier.

For Tomb Raider: Anniversary, I would actually use an xbox controller. It makes the controls so much smoother than the pc controls but if you don’t want to use the xbox controller then you will need to tweak the controls. Make sure all the main controls are connected to the keys you use the most. Play the Croft Manor game before you start the main game. That’s where you get the journal for the game. Also, you can unlock outfits throughout the game which you can try them out during the Manor game plus look at the artifacts you pick up along the way in the game. The pc controls are super hard to use because your hands can get really cramped.

If you are going to play a Nancy Drew game. Then I highly suggest you use the walkthroughs provided by other players. Those games can be nerve-racking when you are stuck on a certain part of the game. It also helps you play the game in the correct order.

In Wizard101, I would make sure you always have treasure cards in your treasure deck. They can save you if when you run out of your main spells. Buy a permanent mount since it will with navigating through the game. If you have to run all over the place just to get one quest done then use the mark a spot button. You can use this button to mark the spot you need to go back to which you can port to that spot once you are done. For instance, if I’m in a certain world but I have to enter another world for more quests then I mark the spot where I am at in order to return to that spot without have to make the whole trip back. It can be really annoying if you have to keep running back in forth between worlds without some kind of transportation. Also, get amulets with cards attached to them as well as daggers, rings, and clothing. Those cards will be added into your deck as special cards. You can only use them once during each duel but they will help you in the long run. Another point, always keep up with which schools opposite school. There is a chart which shows what schools have a disadvantage or the upper hand with certain schools. Like Ice is Death’s weakness so any Ice spell casted will get bonus attack points on top of the spells regular attack points. Best thing to do is find the chart then take a screenshot of the chart for future battles. Make sure to make a deck that can help you get through fights faster plus do more damage to your opponent.

Always play the tutorial the game provides otherwise, you get killed much faster.

@Gamers Can you share some more tricks?

In Bitlife if you get arrested for a crime and don’t wanna go to jail, don’t click anything and straightaway exit the game and then close it. The crime wouldn’t have took place at all once you visit next time.

I really can’t think of one I use-
