“What if we accidentally summon the devil instead of the ghosts of Alissa and Mr.Albert?” Jenny stared at Jacob, thoroughly disturbed,I mean- if ghosts can be erm real, then could we accidentally summon lucifer himself?” Jenny felt a shiver go down her spine. She looked around to see if anyone had saw. “Jacob, didn’t you just say ghosts aren’t real?” She sounded pushy, better than worried she thought. I know you don’t believe in the existence of ghosts. Yet as I’ve told you, I’m willing to try anything. But I am thankful you voiced your thoughts, especially you Jenny, … I wouldn’t dare do something that would cause harm to the rest of you. So I apologize, deeply, for not considering your thoughts. We could try a different idea, I am open to anything.” Jenny’s lips were pressed together. “No, no, no it’s ok we can first try your idea.” Jacob said. Jenny slowly looked at him, something strange like murderous intent? in her eyes.

“Dior” Jacob mumbled, “Dior is the closest person to Alissa, … We need to talk to Dior,” Yes! “Lead one!” Jenny was slightly repulsed at how excited that murmur sounded. “Yes, good idea Jacob! We have to ask for Dior’s help. But if that’s what we’re going to be doing, it’s best if you’re the one to talk to her, I think she won’t agree to a stranger she only knows as a potential murder of her best friend or an ex, but if she’s got any brains at all she’ll know you’re not the one who would do this and she would trust you.” Jenny nodded slowly, waying the options. “I agree. But you should be very gentle with her, Jacob. After all, she…” Jenny rolled her eyes. She forgot that Dior might not be on her toes right away. “She needs support above all, so if she refuses to answer we should be understanding. I’m sorry, but her wellbeing is more important than this mystery.”* Jenny wished she didn’t see the logic in that, but it was clear in her mind. This was gonna be harder than the plan they were forming. Can I come with you? … I won’t interfere. But I think two witnesses would be better than one." Jenny thought it was a great idea but–even she had been put off this the whole ‘goth’ thing going on at first.

But then Jacob spoke up, “The truth is more important than Dior’s comfort,” “-amen-” “Wait, sorry that came out wrong,” He face-palmed, “But this is not just a mystery- at least to me. Alissa… Alissa she was my twin sister, she was not just my sister or a sister she was my twin and my only sister and I have to clear up her name and find out the truth because Alissa Brian did not die from overdosing, … I think… I think that would be better.” Jacob told her, “You’re better at comforting people and” This, Jenny agreed with.

"You do that, Jacob, and … " Jenny leaned in as Reece whispered. “And I’ll use my father’s ID to get into the morgue and have a copy of the report. How can we be asked to investigate if we aren’t allowed the same information as the police? Well I’ll take a step forward to getting that problem solved. Are we agreed on this?” Jenny looked around the group. “Yep.” She said on a deep breath. “I hope that works in our favor. It would be of great help.”

That ‘title’ is just mostly just that, a ‘title’ . . . but anyways to answer your question, I don’t really know what’s going around right now, my party phase is kinda over.” Said Hazel. Ahhh. Jenny had hoped that wasn’t the case. “Hazel… Did Alissa tell you anything else?” But that did catch Jenny’s attention. Did Alissa and Hazel trade secrets like that? She sat back, listening. ”Alissa was pregnant and seeing an older man in college” Jenny watched Jacob’s reaction closely. “Pregnant, … She was pregnant?" Jenny was also in shock. “I knew it,” she whispered, even though she hadn’t. She had only known it was something and assumed drugs. She stood up to pace and think at the back of the classroom. She had felt a little bad, and almost patted Jacob on the shoulder, but thought better of it. They weren’t exactly friends. Okay, I’ll confirm if she was pregnant when I get a look at the body.” Reece cleared his throat and continued in his normal voice. “If she is pregnant, I’ll immediately also confirm Hazel’s power, because honestly Hazel … I’m don’t believe in anybody who claims they’re psychic, unless it gets proven.” Jenny listened from the back of the classroom. Pregnant. Pregnant? “Hazel, did she want to keep the baby?” Thoughts whirled around her mind, slamming against her skull. “Lead number two, guys. Did he know? Did he want to get rid of the baby?” She wanted to bombard the group with more questions, suggestions. But what she really wanted to know was where this baby daddy was. “Anyone want to plan a third field trip with me?” She asked, already ready to raid Jacobs house in order to find anything that would tell her who this new man was.

“And… We need to find Alissa’s note,” Willow strained her voice to be heard by everyone. “We could analyze what it says, what it was written on and with…” she paused, trying to add ideas. “If it was written in a hurry or unfinished, if it’s her usual handwriting… And not potentially someone else’s.” Jenny stared blankly at Willow. That was BRILLIANT. Hazel nodded, ”That’s a good place to start . . . maybe she revealed the man’s name in the note? Or what college he goes to?” Jenny came back to her seat.
