I was thinking Jacob answering to Reece and then having a little conversation, like 2 posts maybe, before Jacob feels better, and then he randomly remebers his sister saying that the girl he’s ‘obsessed with’ likes Jacob, so he asks “So who’s this girl you like?” Because Reece doesn’t seem like the type who’d have a crush or like just one girl. Well Reece doesn’t want to answer this, not in front of her, so he says “Oh, nobody” but to not have to answer anything he changes the topic and goes “So, what’s your secret Hazel?” He asks, because she’s the girl he likes and she’s the first person who came into his head besides Jacob, but he already told us his secret.
