I’m sick of people who make all their white characters have brown skin. Especially when they’re often the same people who say “I dunno how to write black characters”. Like, sure. They might have a tan, ut it’s in the middle of the winter. And if you’re so obsessed with keeping all your characters white, why won’t you actually make them white?
Either that or they claim that the characters are all mixed when you ask them. Why has that never come up before?

I hate people using Copper 05, Neutral 05, Gold 05, etc. on white characters. Same with Taupe and Toffee skin. No white person has skin naturally like that. Not even tans. Tans are ORANGE!

My opinions (will probably add more) :

I hate it when a character makes a huge fuss out if something that is not important

MC’s who have never failed in their lives (for example the “I am a warrior and I have never lost a fight” kind of MC. Just no. That does not happen irl) and who always get what they want without doing anything are annoying and unrealistic. Same goes for MC’s who always have some kind of issue that the LI always manages to fix only for the MC to find herself in trouble again

Unpopular opinions (that may or may not be that unpopular):

I don’t mind having the OPTION of more than one love interest as long as we can choose to flirt with or reject the others. But I don’t like it when we’re forced to romance the LIs that we aren’t interested in.

If a story’s going to be set in a country that isn’t the USA, it’d be nice if the author could actually use custom backgrounds from that country to set the scene. I recently read a story that was supposed to be set in Greece, but they only used generic Episode backgrounds, and there was nothing Greek about it at all… so it was kind of hard for me to get into the story.

People use the cough animation too much for ‘I want to change the subject because someone said something awkward’, or ‘I want to get someone’s attention’. I use it for… when someone’s actually coughing (or sneezing since we don’t have a sneeze animation).

There need to be more positive authority figures in stories, like parents and teachers.

I don’t like it when characters use a lot of sexual innuendo or graphically describe sexual acts. It’s just… cringeworthy to me.

When the character’s skin is darker than their eyebrows, it looksweird, and I can’t take the character seriously. Unless it’s a fantasy story.

My thoughts freaking exactly! There was this story on the Clue (I think it was called Cluedo) and I wasn’t happy when the author made my character bisexual which didn’t give me the option to reject the females.
I know right. It gets so freaking annoying!
