Using social media to learn languages

I personally find that social media can be really helpful for learning new languages, especially when it comes to pronunciation/vocabulary. Has anyone else tried this? What do you think?

I’ve found YouTubers that teach Irish. I abandoned my Duolingo quest pretty fast.

I particularly like short-form content like Ig reels or tiktok videos because they’re not too long and it’s a good way to learn casual speech

One of my favourite accounts is @2homiedawgs on instagram - they make dubbed over animal videos in German and my mom and I send their videos to each other all the time

I like using them to test my vocab knowledge
