Weird things it took you ages to notice?

So there’s a nail in the wall in my bedroom. How did I just notice that?!

In my flat at uni, I only noticed that someone had stuck a pin in the doorframe right at the end of the year.

Is there anything in your life that it took you ages to notice?

It took me so long to notice that there are mounted like. Stands? Jutting out from my ceiling where a projector screen used to be xD

It took me 4 days to notice that I forgot to reply to this thread… :no_mouth::eyes::sparkles:
It also took me a little more than a month to discover that the home button on the forums takes you to an interesting website :eyes::sparkles:
It took me five years to discover the pizzeria that is right across the street of my school :eyes::sparkles:

But my friend wanted to get some pizza during our break and it turned out that it’s a pizzeria :eyes::sparkles::joy:

I just noticed I have a lil thing next to my name that says “Forum Illuminati” guess I’ve been skipping the illuminati meetings :joy:

I’m very oblivious to my surroundings so uh,

  • It took me 4 years to realize that the restaurant I loved so much actually moved and wasn’t even there whilst I talked about it to everyone I knew :rofl:
  • It took me a few months to find out that there’s a school garden on the roof of our tech block, I thought the weird metal door was decoration xD
  • It took me 3 lessons to realize that the computers I’ve been using in those lessons don’t have an On/Off button :thinking:

  • It took me ages to notice that I had all my 4 wisdom teeth grown till 15 years of age (I used to feel pain in my teeth, but shrugged it off as a random ‘sweet-ache’).

  • It took me ages to notice that ECRU is also a colour, apparently (yeah, Google it).

  • It took me ages to notice that someone from my neighborhood had a crush on me.

  • It took me ages to notice that I got a knife cut on my palm and didn’t even realize it until I was finished with the cooking (when the excruciating pain hit me like a bus).

  • It took me ages to notice that the people whom I actually considered as friends were the biggest liars and backstabbers I had ever met in my life (this story is sad, I get momentarily depressed whenever I remember it…)
