Hey, guys!
Are there any hobbies that you find interesting, but wish that you had picked up when you had the chance?
For example, I enjoy playing soccer and swimming with my nephews, but I wish I had taken swimming lessons or soccer training when I was a kid, because I’d be much better at it now.
Digital art is a hobby I started many years ago, but I abandoned it due to lack of time.
There was also a time when I enjoyed making jewelry, but it’s kind of expensive to keep buying materials unless you’re planning on selling your creations.
Cupcake making was another one that I enjoyed but abandoned.
What about you guys? What hobbies would you like to start in the near future? What hobbies do you wish you would have stuck with? Any that you had the chance to learn but weren’t interested in at the time?
Art and cooking (which I’ve started, but not art)
Makeup, because now I’m 17 and I only wear a small amount of makeup. Sucks because I break out anytime I wear too much of it
Pottery and jewelry-making
Wish I started learning how to cook earlier ;-;
It’s harder than I thought it would be and I probably wouldn’t have caused a mess in the kitchen if I tried it out sooner xD
I also wish I got into photography a lot earlier. I really enjoy it but I can’t pick both this and art for my subjects so I kinda gave up on it ;-;
Oh god yeah xD
Archery was the only thing I was good at, and I really wanted to practise! But it’s so expensive >~<
I wish I never stopped playing netball and basketball. I miss them so much.
I wish I started boxing, learning to play the drums and found any graphics lesson I could’ve done on the side for fun.
I learned to knit in 2010, but since I’m left-handed, I had to learn with a left-handed teacher because it’s different than watching a right-handed person do it.
I knitted a few scarves after that, but then I forgot all about knitting once the weather got warm.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to play piano, but I’ve never had the time or good enough instruction to do so.
Same with skating, making cheese, leathercrafting.
But during the outbreak, I got into making DIY craft it was in the list before) https://printsbery.com/invitations/babies-and-kids/baby-shower/gir
I wish I started taking dancing lessons when all my friends did. If I start them now, I’ll be in a class with people who are 5 years younger than me and that I don’t know which makes me feel very uncomfortable. But back when everyone else took dancing lessons, I didn’t think that I’d enjoy dancing so I didn’t sign up for it.
Another hobby I wish I’d took up when I still had the chance to is archery. Now the place where I could sign up for it is gone because nobody was interested.
Violin, I used to play when I was younger but just lost motivation at one point and stopped. Every now and then I still regret that decision
Also, drawing on actual paper, I kinda know how to draw digital but I just can’t draw on paper while I used to do that so much when I was younger
Lastly, I would have loved to pick up on swimming or maybe even water polo as sport. It’s something I always enjoyed doing but just never actually really did something with…
