What causes you to get a nosebleed/how often?

I’ve only ever had a nosebleed once and I was asleep when it happened so I don’t know what caused it

I basically only had them one planes I think 3 times

i got one cos i had a vein pop cos of the cold when i visited my cousins in the mountains. IT WAS SUMMER. but i dont get nose bleeds

I used to have a huge nosebleed problem (like once a day at least). I think it was because the skin inside my nose was super dry and damaged. Then I started using vaseline there and now I only get them like once a month

I always get hit by ball like basketball on my head. So that causes my nose to bleed .
