To try and further the discussion, what does everyone think would ruin their favorite tabletop game or tabletop games in general?

If the game gets knocked off the table by a child or pet. Everyone loses their places in the game when that happens.

If the people I’m playing it with took it too personally and got mad because they lost and refused to play, if the game fell down and we lost some pieces, or if we played too many rounds and people started getting bored.
