We don’t use a tree topper. Sometimes (like this year) we put a Kermit the Frog ornament that clips onto the tree branches on the branches at the top.

star, in Denmark its a star I never seen anyone put an angel and this is the first time I hear a halo

but a different we do, we put flags on the tree, but again they are white and red so they fit
