What have you learned from books?

Aside from life lessons I learned better spelling, grammar and just general structure :joy:

In terms of life lessons though, I don’t mean I just picked up a book and thought “by gosh I better start living my life like this” what I mainly learned is that if I’m having a bad day and don’t wanna talk to anyone then a book will be my fren

Miss. Peregrines home for peculiar children taught me that even though many people may see me as odd there will always be people who are like me so I’m not a “weirdo” and I’m not alone

Also I read quotes in books that I think make sense to me on certain things.

“We accept the love we think we deserve” - Perks of being a wallflower

There was this one book called The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore, and it really opened my eyes to a different perspective of how we grow up the way we do
