What is the most important thing you learned in 2020?

I feel that I’ve learned to be less judgmental, to not overwhelm those who I love, and to be more resilient, among other things.

What about you?

I’ve learned so much in 2020, in the beginning of the year, I was definitely a bit more childish. I was the kind of person who would lash out whenever I got really angry, I didn’t really know how to keep calm and control my emotions, and I acted on impulse a lot. Now, I am more calm, I know how to control my anger, and I do feel more emotionally mature.
The way I speak changed, and the way I act changed too. I do, however, feel less open with new people. I did become more awkward, and I feel more reserved. Im also less judgmental and more observant. Also, for some reason my standards in relationships changed :joy: they went up lolol

I learnt that not all bad things last, and it doesn’t pay to be a pessimist
I also learnt that I should value myself much more, and I shouldn’t let people walk over me. I’ve also learnt to be more confident, and also I’ve never really been one to follow rules n stuff lmao but during the pandemic I was forced to wear masks, maintain social distancing, etc. Ig it kinda made me start following rules more, which has reallyyyyyyyyyyy helped :))

I learned a lot in 2020, like how being stuck in a house with my family can be stressful, but in return helped me learn to control that stress and anxiety
I also recognized that everyone is experiencing the same pandemic, and everyone is trying to figure out how to stay safe.
I’ve also learned a lot from my time with my friends here on the forums that online/long distance relationships can be tough, especially if the other person/people are in different time zones
Despite that, I would probably wouldn’t have been the same if I hadn’t met my online friends, and I never would have met them in the first place, so I’ve learned that sometimes life changing things can come from horrible ones.

One of the things I had learned in 2020 is being productive is really helpful. However, from time to time, take a step back, and appreciate your moment.

I learned that it’s important to manage time and have enough self-control over yourself. Time-management saves your from stressing over stuff in at last moment and gives you more time to do your own thing.
