Sadly, I’m going to have to look some up. I can’t remember any right now. So, I found one on this website about a cat being the mayor of the town of Talkeetna, Alaska. He stood as a mayor for 20 years until he died in 2017. He would greet visitors and also became a symbol of the city. This happened back in 2000 when the town had a population of 772 people living there. The event became very popular around the world during that time. The mayor’s name was Stubbs.

I know this weird fact that in Switzerland, it is illegal to own just one guinea pig 'cause they’re social animals and are considered victims of abuse if they are alone…
