To be honest, bad board games are when they are poorly created, not thought out of the most, and when they simply don’t create anything stimulating to the brain.
To you, what makes a bad baord game?
If they’re too complicated and aren’t fun because of it.
I think they are bad when they’re too complex to understand and it takes you hours to prepare something for the game. If understanding the rules and preparing for the game takes longer than the game itself, it’s just so annoying
- If they are too complex and hard to understand
- If they’re tooooo easy
- If they can be finished in a few minutes.

Too many rules… most of the time.

Exactly this! When they’re too easy, they get boring after a while, but if they’re too complex, they can also be boring because the players won’t understand how to play.
