I always pronounce it like: (Ele-Men-Ary) and my friend always tells me how wrong I’m pronouncing it

At this point in time I can’t seem to recall them but lately I’ve had to slowly say my words because I make a ton of mistakes when talking.

Often… I pronounce it ‘off-ten’ even though I know it’s supposed to be pronounced ‘offen’.
Salmon… I say ‘sal-mon’ even though I know it should be pronounced ‘sammon’.

I cannot say “Red Leather, Yellow Leather” more than once. Every time we do this in theater… I just can’t do it.
Why are tongue twisters a thing? I always spend like a whole minute just to say a few words or terribly mess them up. They’re so frustrating!
Also pronouncing things in other languages is just hard, because I wasn’t raised speaking them, but that’s a different lack of pronunciation ability.
