What’s the single best thing you did for your mental health?

Not sure why this is at the top rn, but reducing my social media time! I hate to say it because everyone does, but I have so much more energy that I can put towards spending time with people and doing things I actually like rather than just scrolling for hours :broken_heart:

Went to college after being home for the whole duration of Corona, hardly ever leaving my house

For me, I think it was going on medication

I had really bad anxiety in my first and second years of uni and it got much better after I started taking an SSRI

Moving back home after finishing school has also helped because not worried about money as much anymore

Very real!! I’m only properly getting into the social side of things this year, but the variety of people you meet is so fun. And the independence, my god :sob: going back home nearly drove me crazy
