Lmao.
Teachers be like that. Maybe she was trying to embarrass you and meaning put the phone away?

Actually, she finished to teach us what she wanted to a bit earlier, so she allowed my class to use phones.
Its…weird
I dont know exactly if it’s dumb. And my teahcer said it to the class, but…
In French class my teacher was showing us statistics, she showed the number of people who spoke French in Canada, who spoke English, who spoke both or who spoke none.
In it showed in the past few years that no one spoke either was growing.
So like the ‘kind’ woman she is, she told the class
“Those damned immigrants are taking over, we’ll have nothing left”
Lmao
My 2nd Grade teacher had a prize bin, and you could take one prize if you completed a math worksheet An attempt at incentive, but it worked REALLY well I had finished one of the sheets and pulled out a stamper.
[details=“Like this, but it only stamped the word “Awesome” in red ink”]
When I took it out, she told me “Don’t stamp people with it.” I thought she was joking. I went over to my friends and they asked me if I could stamp their hands, and I said sure. I stamped the word “Awesome” in red ink on each of their hands. As I was leaving the classroom, she held me back and said “Did you stamp people when I specifically told you not to?” She took the stamp and I went home really sad, because I didn’t have the chance to stamp myself : (
"And if you haven’t written your personal statement…
What are you doing with your life?"
Bump
Someone was talking to me during class (I was sitting there being quiet) and the teacher went,
“Haruka! Don’t talk!”
So I said “OK, sorry.”
And then he said, “HARUKA! STOP TALKING!”
So I stopped talking. And then he went,
“HARUKA! WHERE’S THE APOLOGY?”
Bump!
Okay. Not the dumbest, but i just haven’t had anyone to share this with.
My science teacher asked if anyone in my AP class would be interested in working for NASA. I rose my hand and he said.
“Pfft. Good luck. Your Canadian”
Later I asked what type of high school classes i could take to work for NASA (preferably as a doctor or astronaut)
He looked my dead in the eyes and serious and said,
“Brooke. You know you have to be smart to work at NASA, right?”
well i’ve got two things, same teacher too:
Oof, one of my teachers tells students they’re going to get scoliosis from not sitting upright
My science teacher likes to do this to me:
Him: why is your phone in your pocket it should be in your bag
Me:sorry.
Him: walks away
Me: takes my phone out my pocket and goes to put it in my bag.
Him: comes running back screaming about the school values and that I shouldn’t be on my phone in class etc etc
And then he confiscated my phone
But it was ok, I swiped it from his desk on the way out.
My teacher expects us to put our phones in a basket but only enforced this rule on the first day lmao. I never bring my phone to class cuz I can just give it to my sister. I don’t wanna put it in the basket for whatever reason bc if I get hurt/sick or anything I want to be able to have access to the phone.
Rip, the teacher that says the stuff about scoliosis also makes us put our phones in a tray thing
Oof. I can see why tho cuz in my class there are legit students on their phones the whole class period. Even with a huge computer! LMAO. Like, if you’re gonna put that basket there- you better MAKE people use it, otherwise don’t have a basket.
Oof, yeah
Rip I sometimes glance at my phone with whatever chance I get but with that class I can’t
But yeah, last year they had baskets but for most clases, they stopped enforcing them
Our middle-aged Personality Development teacher once said:
“You can’t be a doctor is you’re afraid of blood.”
“You can’t be an engineer if you’re not a math genius.”
It’s pretty ironic that these words came from a “Personality Development” teacher.
There was also a time when our School Principal sl#t-shamed my best friend for wearing a long, body-fit dress with a slit on the side. She shouted at her and said that she should be ashamed of herself for dressing inappropriately inside the campus. When in fact, her attire didn’t even violate our school’s dress code at all (our school does not allow women to wear above-the-knee skirts and dress). It just happens that my best friend’s dress accented her curves and she got sl#t-shamed for it by our own School Principal. I was really mad when she told us about it because the principal shouted at my best friend in front of our teachers and our guidance counselor.
