I started on august 16th and my last day is may 1st think
May 1st? Ooh, lucky, I thought college students ended in mid-March
I usually start the school year in late August, around the 20th. The school year usually ends in the end of May or early June.

I like that my school year doesn’t run into July because I like having my birthday over the summer rather than a school day.

In our country, elementary and secondary schools typically start in the first or second week of June, and then end in the last week of March.
As for universities, like in my school, the academic year starts in the first week of August and then ends in the third or last week of May.
We only have two months of school vacation here.

The school year here starts the Tuesday after Labour Day, which is in September, and ends late June.
