Well when you sleep you go through these cool sleep phases! I’ve been looking into this cuz i’ve wanted to get more lucid dreams (basically when you know you’re dreaming and can actively do stuff in your dreams, I’ve been wanting to harness and use it as a tool to solve my own issues but in my sleep…).
As a spiritual person - a psychic has told me that I’ve gone to like other worlds when I sleep and I believe that because sometimes my dreams take place in strange worlds that I feel a strange connection to.
Not really, only a day early.

I go to a parallel dimension when I’m asleep 
A friend once told me before that our dreams could be a glimpse from a parallel universe. I think that would really awesome if that was the case
