Ever had favorite painters and you admired their art that inspired you and motivated you to start art?
My favorite painter is Pablo Picasso, I was taught about him in school in art class. The teacher once showed us the painting of the three musicians and asked us to copy the painting. I was then amazed by cubism. Last year in middle school we were taught about Guernica and the history about the painting. I guess you could say I was intrigued by his art.
Claude Monet and Caspar David Friedrich! I’m basically obsessed with them. I adore impressionism and romanticism, there is something so calming about those movements!
I’m just reoping this, because I feel there’s still potential in this thread! Personally, Monet is by far my favourite painter, what about you @Artists?
I usually prefer to separate the artist from the art so even though i admire picasso’s art style, he wasn’t a good person. I only have respect for the art, not him.
