get to work - nope, not at all. i found the careers super boring, retail poorly managed, and it added very little outside of that
get famous - has a lot of mechanics, the fame system was pretty fun, it’s slow, which is kinda boring and kinda nice considering how quickly some things can be done
get together - the world was very pretty, clubs are pretty easy to use and give strong benefits
city living - the festivals are interesting and i like having apartments–however, i don’t use either that often, and it adds very little aside from that
most of the packs just have an incredibly limited scope, which is why a lot of them get a solid “meh”
parenthood i think was great because it totally revamps raising kids, which is such a big part of the game.

Get to Work, City Living and Uni are the best so far. If you want occult sims get vampire, magic pack, island living for mermaids.
Get to work is fun if you like the interactive part for the jobs other than that it’s meh.
City living is interesting but the event system is something you would need to get use to.
Get famous has a complicated system along with the interactive job for acting.
Seasons is a good one since it brings in the holiday items for the game.
Pets and pets first packs are good if you want to have a furry companion. The system with the pets is complicated so you have to make sure you keep an eye on the relationship between pet and owner.
Jungle adventure and outdoor retreat are really fun!
I have not tried uni yet but I do have it. From what i saw it looks like a lot of fun.

In sims, I’ve come to expect the unexpected. Even late night roasts which are actually daylight roasts with the ripoff Sims version of the witch from the off-branded new version: Hands and Gretna. Either way I am both concerned and intruiged.

I am with you on that one. It intrigues me just as much it makes me wary of what to come now. This image reminds me of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina when Zelda cooks that kid up in a dream.
