It depends on what I’m reading or writing, I can’t really choose! Reading is less work though, so that’s just easier sometimes. It depends on how interested I am in the topic.
I actually reading titanic books as I speak. In 2030 titanic is going to disappear due to bad germs ![]()
Lately? I’m much more in a reading mood because I try to write and find I just don’t have the motivation, sadly!
Oh god preach.
I manage to write a paragraph of Kito today and I was sooo drained afterwards it wasn’t even funny >.<
I totally agree with both of you. I am struggling to write at the moment. SIGH!
I’ve lowkey been writing so effing much since FTD & CHB started especially with my personal stories so I feel improvement slowly XDD Especially in my patience.
Lol @ChaoticDeluge @CrazyCaliope when I tried writing yesterday, realised I needed a piece of art and gave up.
@katabasis I wish I had your motivation ![]()

Here’s to motivation coming soon and quick.
My motivation recently came back. I’m now working on my almost 80 page story. (By far the longest one I’ve written).
Well, not that I’m much help but I think we just discussed that Deluge with be helping you with this. (wink)
My motivation kinda came back with the announcement of the new contest. I’ve been writing plenty
I adore writing but if I had to choose between reading and writing I would go with reading. I very much enjoy writing but I would hate to miss out on the incredible stories that are out there. There is so much I want to read and I would easily give up writing for that.
Yay! You have to update me about the progress ![]()
It depends. If it’s a good book, I read. But I can go a long time before I read a book. In between I play games or write
Lately I can’t even be bothered trying to write, I started a story on wattpad and advertised it a lot but it only got 5 reads and I wrote soooo much. My writing isn’t that bad is it? ![]()
The thing is that people don’t read just one chapter on Wattpad. They need a lot before they’re willing to get invested because there are so many people who just don’t complete stories that it’s a real risk getting emotionally attached to something with only a few chapters
Sometimes I really love writing and can’t stop once I’ve started, but other times I can’t get any words out of my head so I want to read rather than write. It’s like a weird feeling that makes me want to write, but reading is something I can do all the time. My writing is only good if I get that feeling that I have to write now. Does is sounds a bit insane? ![]()
I like reading but I didn’t read in long time. Mainly I read on episode but I’m thinking to read some books.
Or I’m start reading on wattpad eh well I will see.
And about writing sometimes I have so much ideas that I want to write but others times I have no inspiration.
I have no idea how I would decide between reading and writing. I write things I would want to read. Writing is creating characters and pushing them to do certain things or have things happen to them, while with reading you are following the characters to see what they experience. With writing, you see what’s coming before the characters do, while when you read you discover it with them. Reading more helps improve writing, but writing can provide a new perspective on what you read. Though reading and writing are two sides to the same coin, they are such different experiences.
Writing cos I get to control everything lolol
I love reading the sh*t that i write most tho
Same! That’s partly why my tires are so diverse, tbh. We don’t see nearly enough characters who don’t fit the “norm”.
