It took him awhile to realize that the monster-simulation-creature-girl-thing wasn’t actually following after him. He slowed to catch his breath, hands on his knees. Huh. Guess it didn’t fall for it then. He spent a moment in the room, enjoying not being in close proximity to monster-simulation— Okay, I need a name for that thing, he thought. Monster-simulation… Mosi. Yeah, that’s not too bad. Morphing back into himself, he continued on his way. He moved back into the room where he’d left Mosi, seeing her restrained and being moved into another room. “All’s well that ends well,” he said to himself, smiling slightly. He technically had done nothing to aid them, but he had tried and that was what mattered.
Everyone else was being attended to, and Aziel felt kind of useless—and hungry, which was not a good combination. So, he headed to the kitchen. He stood in the doorway, stunned at the mess. A large portion of the kitchen itself was burned, and there seemed to be some sort of meal prep going on, though the vegetables that were steaming were way overcooked. There was a large turkey that had been abandoned before being put in the oven, and now it was far too late to cook a whole turkey in time for dinner. He made a face, sighing, before moving to clean up the area and start again.
He filled a pot and placed it on the stove, then grabbed some new vegetables that he was going to steam. Setting the vegetables aside, he took some raw chicken out of the fridge and seasoned them before placing it in the pot to boil. He worked efficiently, getting into the groove of things and starting to have fun cooking whilst singing some show tunes.
