ITS FINE
Stopping by woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I don’t think I have one but I also barely know any English poems to share here 
And German poems are sometimes a bit weird to translate

My favourites are called nonsense poems! (wink)
One fine day in the middle of the night,
Two dead men got up to fight.
Back-to-back they faced one another,
Drew their swords and shot each other.One was blind and the other couldn’t see,
So they chose a dummy for a referee.
A blind man went to see fair play,
A dumb man went to shout “hooray!”A paralyzed donkey passing by,
Kicked the blind man in the eye,
Knocked him through a nine-inch wall,
Into a dry ditch and drowned them all.A deaf policeman heard the noise,
And went to arrest the two dead boys.
If you don’t believe this lie is true,
Ask the blind man – he saw it too!
