My parents listen to a lot of older music, like the Beatles, although they sometimes listen to the current songs. I don’t have a problem with most of their music, although I tend to prefer different songs than they do. However, I think that our music tastes have a decent amount of overlap.

My parents usually listen to rock music from the 80s and 90s, but my mom listens to what’s currently popular too. Sometimes we end up liking the same song, but most of the time we have different tastes. My dad on the other hand hates pop music and prefers to listen to heavy metal or something of the sort

Do you have the same music taste as your parents?
I kinda have the same taste in music as my parents. My mom also likes musicals and my dad and I both like alt-rock, but there’s other music my parents listen to that I’m not into, like country.

My mom will listen to anything, but I think she prefers 80’s pop, rock, and occasionally rap. I don’t think my dad listens to music at all.
