Get a grip. Stop cutting urself, because you will regret it once u r better, I promise u. Stop thinking too much over what people think and say, it’s not healthy, nor productive. Stop doing nothing and just blaming it on being too scared to call the hotline or whatever. It’s very easy to do nothing. #235 This will probably be my only serious anonymous confession. Usually I’m an open book. A while ago I had this test and it had been a few days after I had finished the test, and I think all the other classes had finished the test too (all classes take the same test). So anyway, I’m sitting with my friend and I’m just looking around the room and I see this table. It looks like they’re studying, but they’re not. One girl is telling a guy who hadn’t taken the quiz yet this flash card thing. I was just like, “Huh, that’s weird.” Because those were all the answers. I shrugged it off because the teacher had given out a lot of clues and hints about the answers already. But the girl had already taken the test (well, I assume, because like, literally everybody else had taken the test already). Now, I’m okay with you helping someone out when they weren’t there for the test prep, but not like giving them most of the answers (well, she was quizzing him- sorta). I just shrugged it off even though it was technically cheating (the guy she was sorta quizzing/giving the answers to literally did not do ANY studying), until this guy from my class walked up to the table, and he had just gotten his test back. Once he sees that they’re doing this, he hand the girl THE ACTUAL TEST. The guy never sees it, but the girl is telling the guy the answers on the actual test! That’s when I considered it cheating. The reason I’m doing this confession is because I told the teacher what I saw (over email), saying how I thought it was cheating but that it would be his call to make over if it really is cheating or not. And I just keep thinking about that. Did I make the right move by telling the teacher? I felt so guilty afterwards. I’m still feeling bad about it now. I talked to people about it before I did it (not at the school lol) and they all encouraged me to tell the teacher but I still don’t know if I made the right move. I just wanted the guy and the people who helped him kinda cheat to learn from what they did and not do that sort of thing again. But now I’m not going to do that again because that’s the teacher’s job to spot cheaters and to know and to give different tests to those who take it later. I’ve talked about this before so if you know I am, just PM me about it or something because I made this anonymous for a reason. Thanks everyone! I just needed to get this off my chest.
